    Phew it's hot here!

Been up since 3am here, not sure how I am still functioning, have been naughty and had quite a bit of caffeine (4 energy drinks:eek:)....I had it straight after a feed so hopefully not too much will pass through, but i needed something to keep me going!

I plan on starting to express this week but want a thermometer for the fridge to check the temp is ok - any thoughts on where to get one? I thought a bog standard thermometer would be easy to find but none in aldi, sainsburys or wilkinson which is where I've tried so far.

Turtlemoose - what about Robert dyas or argos? Not sure if they do thermometers.

Jannine - thanks! He has now started rolling over and giggling as he knows I'm going to pick him up and praise him!! He thinks it's hilarious!!

Sammie, love how he's learnt to roll over just in time for your holiday!... Just to echo what Sunshine said - I too put the sealed milk (and her water bottle) in the plastic tray with the clear liquid bag - then through the scanner. Bounty pack Sudocrem is great for travelling - I've been refilling it and also use it in my changing bag.

I think he learnt to roll over just before holiday so he can get an all over tan!!!
That's a good idea about refilling the little pot, I have one of the massive pots and hate carrying it in the changing bag so I might steal your idea from now on!!!

Oh I'm not sure where else you could get one from then.

Noah is now asleep in his play mat, all that rolling over must of been hard work!!

Evening all, hope everyone survived the heat?

We abandoned our picnic in favour of the nice shady terrace out the back of Prezzo at dinnertime, had a lovely pizza - which my mum cut up for me so I could eat with one hand while holding G to feed at the same time! We had lunch at Cafe Rouge yesterday too, love it when Mum comes down!

Thanks Jannine, it is me with the anti-ds. I couldn't get an appointment this morning so going to try again tomorrow and push for them to either give me a transfusion or apparently you can get iron injections which are much faster to take effect than the pills I'm taking now. From what I've read the average iron score to feel normal is around 100, mine is 4 at the moment so its no wonder I'm feeling rubbish! Wish they'd just given me the transfusion straight after the birth and saved all these tears. But its reassuring to know the anti-ds dp work if I end up taking them. I'll doublecheck the dosage too.

Sorry I've not caught up properly, sure I'll have time later x

Turtlemoose - DIY shops like Homebase and B&Q sell fridge thermometers, so might be worth trying if you have one near you - you can check stock in your local store online, saving you a wasted trip if they've run out. Places that sell fridges also tend to sell them - I know Currys do. Otherwise Debenhams or Lakeland?

    Hi Everyone!

Can someone add me to the list please? I'm rubbish with stuff like that, I still don;t know how to quote someone (I'm a div I know!) Teddy, born 25th June 2012. Thank u in advance!

Welcome yoemma! I take my hat off to you for having twins, I found it a struggle in the first couple of weeks with just one! My hubby is a twin and my MIL said it was easy, just the same as having one baby  I think she's telling porkies!

Nutella, I love the name Selma, how cute!

Well I got out of the sun today and went to Lakeside with my friend, MIL is getting married in 4 weeks so I needed an outfit! Managed to find a nice dress in M&S of all places, thought it was only my mum that shopped in there!

Teddy is completley holding his head up now which is cute but its scary how strong he is! And today was the first day he didn't scream the house down when I put him in the bath! We had a splashing game and I swear he smiled at me! Probably wind but I like to think it was a little smile :)
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference :)

MrsBryan - have added you you to the list. I think we need an Emsbet over here - Emsbet, if you're lurking, you know what to do come September! ;)

PS: It seems the 11th is a good day to have a baby!?... We have March, April and May :)
