Morning! I never realised Sophie was a squeaky toy too haha. Neighbours shan't be impressed lol x

Morning mozzy, we have Sophie here too and the dog loves it when Noah plays with her!! He seems to know its not his even though I can see in his eyes he really wants it!!

Sunshine - morning and good luck nursery hunting.

    Morning everyone else
All the kids are still in bed at the moment so thought I would get up and enjoy a cup of tea whilst I have some peace!!
Our car Is in the garage today so I will take a stroll down to the shops in a bit as the weather is lovely again today. May cut the back grass today as It will be out of control when we get back off holiday otherwise.

Quick question for anyone who has been on a plane with baby, I have bought sealed SMA bottles with sterilised lids to go in my hand luggage so I can feed him on the plane if he needs it, Is that ok? I know you have to taste the milk of you take a normal bottle but is a sealed one ok. Also can you take wet wipes and cream in hand luggage? Do I just put them in the clear bags? Sorry for the hundred questions I just don't want to get it wrong and be trying to sort stuff out at the airport.

Morning everyone, hope your nights were OK :)

Emma - hello, congratulations and welcome! I admire anyone with twins - every now and then when I'm shattered and struggling to get things done around the house I wonder how people with twins cope... :o Hope you got some sleep in the end.

Mozzy - hope you manage to make the most of your last week!

Katie - enjoy your picnic, sounds lovely!

Have a good day all x

Anything that is still sealed should be fine - I brought cartons of Cow & Gate and empty sterilised bottles to pour them into, no questions asked (but as you say you do have to take a sip of anything opened). Wet wipes are fine and can just go in your normal hand luggage. Cream is subject to the normal liquid rules, so should go in the clear bag. I don't know which airport you're flying from - I travelled from Gatwick and was pleased to discover that they have a 'family' entrance for security where there were no queues and very helpful staff who will help you with your stuff etc. Worth looking out for!

We are flying from gatwick too so that sounds great about the helpful staff. We paid for speedy boarding so we could try and get seated all together. Do I just leave the sealed milk in the hand luggage or do I still have to take it out to shows them? Sorry I haven't got a clue!!
    Thanks nutella. Xxx

I took sealed too,.I just put them in the tray through the scanners. I had to taste his water and that was it. I took a bounty pack sudocrem in the clear plastic bags.

Are you cold water sterilising over there? I was fretting about it but was fine!

    Enjoy your picnic katie.

Morning all (again) - well, I managed about 3 1/2 hours sleep so pretty tired just now! After Eva settled, Georgie piped up! To top off a !!!! night, my washer/dryer has kaput. A nice burning smell coming out the back and every light flashing like Blackpool illuminations. I wonder why me sometimes! Now Eva is hiccuping and grunting like mad whilst I'm on the phone to the insurance to see if it's covered :-( x

We are taking microwave sterilising bags with us. You can reuse them up to 20 times each. It's hard work remembering all the stuff you need for baby!
