My lunch was rather yummy. I've been very productive, got 2 loads of washing done, and got my nappies out on the balcony drying too, dinner prepped for tonight and kitchen cleaned around. Aaron is still sleeping! Will have to wake him soon though as I don't normally like him eating his last meal later than 4.30  looks like he'l just have to have it soon, shouldn't do him any harm, our third day of 3 meals and he's still waking in the night for a full feed! He's a good boy though and generally doesn't wake up until 8.30 or sometimes 10 o clock like this morning.

Hope Charlie likes the jumperoo Mozzy, they really are so much fun for the little ones :)

I know what its like Ro, if baby doesn't drink much, try not to worry though, if he's hungry he'l eat :) xx

    Hello all :)

Hope everyone's well, I haven't had a chance to read back yet, but will do in a minute.

I have a question about baby clothes - will also be posting this on the pregnancy thread, so apologies if you read it twice. We'll soon move on to size 3-6 months, which means I can start shopping for clothes that I like rather than my LO wearing all the pink stuff that friends and relatives have given her :j (I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I've been really touched by everyone's generosity, but pink's just not my thing :o).

So - I'm looking for the basics (sleepsuits, dresses, tops, trousers - I don't need vests) in bright, block colours. No patterns, animals, dots or stripes (and certainly no 'mummy's little princess'!) - just plain red, plain yellow, plain green etc. I found some purple trousers and a green vest in H&M (they also do orange) but beyond that I've drawn a blank. I know I can buy white clothes and dye them, but I'm afraid I don't really have the time nor the inclination :(

Does anyone know where I can find such things? Would really appreciate any leads!

Nutella tbh almost everything I've seen has some sort of pattern on it. Your cheapest and easiest option would be to dye I think, but I know it's time consuming :( I love Next for sleepsuits but they're normally patterned to some degree.

Also can't remember who it was who needs sleepsuits for long lanky bubbas, may have been Dizzi? My boy is realllly long and Mothercare he still has loads of arm and leg length in his 3-6's which he has none of in any other brand, so may be an idea for future?

Also here is a picture of my munchkin enjoying his dinner... Edit: Jesus, it's huge, sorry duno how to resize :(

I know that we saw some bodysuits in bright colours in mothercare the other day Nutella - will have a look and see if I can find a link for you.

    ETA:
Here you go. Oops - just re-read your post and it said no vests. Still, the link may help someone else.

    M&S have these sleepsuits.

    or there's these on ebay.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Nutella. Asda- bright clothing, no pink, ruffles, sequins, furry bits, flowers. Well, they have some of that, but they also have more my style- Rose had a little black dress on today from them.

I did get given plain white babygros, and a pack of T-shirt pens, so had fun with DSD drawing on them....

Seren. Thanks, I knew the name was Welsh, which is why I asked- the Haydon books are strongly based on Wales and music running through everything. By the sounds of it, you'd quite like them.

Rose was a terror today- my third night shift had finished, and I've had a total of 5hrs 45min sleep- since Monday morning! I'm knackered, but it has to be done. Tonight is my last night shift for a while, and MIL is back to help with Rose anyway. I do now have a full proper appreciation for those with night waking babies, thank god mine goes out like a light.

Finally got milk into her, as she was busy trying to terrorise the cat. Brave girl- the cat is still bigger than her. May have to have words about how to choose your battles....

    hellllooo :)

Ro - twas me about the things over face!! glad isn't just Aiden! Bless Scott :) Aiden always pulls his bib up if hes lying on the floor lol.

Scratchcard - didn't win :( boohoo. £1 that I'll never see again!! I so badly need a lottery win, lets all start a MSE syndicate lol :p

Gilly - cute pic, bless your little man. Well done getting all those jobs done too! I must upload some more pics too. What highchairs that one?

Mozzy - glad Charlie is ok now, Aiden had a moaning day yesterday.

Sleepsuits - Aiden is a long baby with quite big feet I think, I found marks and spencer really good for length and agree with mothercare ones.

Well the bounce about didnt come :( we were out all afternoon so thought there may be a card but nothing. Hopefully tomorow :)

Got to go and put tea in, I'll read back ina bit xxx
