Morning everyone. Only had two night feeds and got a lie-in so I should be feeling more awake than I am :(

Anyhow, she is rolling around on her play mat making strange grunting noises at her lamaze giraffe (seems happy enough but doesn't half make some strange noises!) and I'm having a coffee while I work out what to do today.

DH texted this morning to say he has been offered the job with details to follow by email. So basically I don't know if he's got the info yet or is going to take it. Got all excited a few mins ago when he texted but it was to say that he's run out of work shirts so could I wash some today.

And apparently my car is currently having a retest on the MOT as all the problems are sorted, so I might get it back this morning! Am keeping my fingers crossed they don't now find something else wrong with it.

I could do with one of those little lottery wins as well...

Don't know about measuring, they've only done munchkin once which I think was her 6 week check. She's definitely grown since then! I go to HV once a month now (at around the month marks) just for information and they've never suggested measuring her.

Thats the same view as me Katie lol, I'm not greedy - I just want enough to pay off my mortgage!! Although of course i wouldnt turn down the winning ticket :) Little monkey is asleep so I'm going to dry my hair and do his bag for later.

We've got the 42 mil(?) Euromillions winners who moved to a house about 5 streets across from us. Thank god the fuss has now died down - the Daily Mail journalists staking out Tesco car park was getting a bit much! Oh if only it was us - that big blue "it's you" finger missed just a bit!

12 week jabs done - so far she seems ok (since I don't think I'm allowed to use Calpol yet anyway because she's not at the minimum age for it on adjusted age - I hope she's ok!) - proceeded to cry, give the nurses a filthy look that seemed very much to amount to "when I take over the world I'm putting both of you on my revenge list" and then fell back asleep smiling... I feel quite sad I've been in the situation where I've ended up with a child who doesn't get really wound up by needles though - she seems to have been a pincushion for most of her life!

Saw the doc yesterday about her hernia - no use whatsoever, told us to come back next month and see one of the more senior docs which I think translates to "I don't have a clue".

We have the giraffe someone bought for us... and the dragon I insisted on asking for for her for my birthday... and hubby bought the knight on horseback to make sure the dragon behaved!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lamaze-Play-Grow-Dee-Dragon/dp/B002VX0A40/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1341493295&sr=1-1 I saw her on someone's pram and just HAD to have one (especially with her being born in the year of the dragon)... and daddy's very into dragons and stuff so didn't exactly object on that one!

She just made me laugh - my parents are doing their year as Mayor and Mayoress of the town I'm originally from, and I was flipping on the local newspaper website like I tend to do - and one of their video clips came up with my step-father blethering away to camera at one of his official events they're at every single day (seriously I've had to advance book 'em now for November!) - and Erin just lay there and grinned when she heard his voice... and discovered her great grandad gave an interview to the paper about his time in the war the other week because of the whole Bomber Command memorial being unveilled - so I really need to print that out for her for years to come as well. She's a very lucky girl to have two grandaddies still alive - but I don't think she'll get the whole significance of the war hero thing while he's still on this earth sadly.

Afternoon all. Just managing to sit down with some bacon and scrambled eggs while baby has went for a nap. He only had around 45 minutes for his first nap this morning which is so unlike him, so hoping he stays down longer this time, so I can get on with some washing and ironing. Hope you are all well xx
