Morning
Hope everyone got a few hours uninterrupted sleep?!
George had me up 3 times but stayed quiet after his 4am feed until gone 8 so I'm feeling quite refreshed! He's smiling a lot more now, when I lent over his crib just now his face lit up in a big grin, so cute!
Hope everyone has a good day, I've got more work to do - shouldn't complain but it's lovely and sunny out this morning, don't want to be stuck in on the pc all morning. Fingers crossed it stays nice til later.Newborn thread member

Morning!!!
Hope you get the lucky scratchcard Sunshine!!! Glad you had a good night!! Progress hey!
Well Charlie went to bed at 8pm, then woke at 1:30am for feed, which hubby did (we alternate who does the first feed), then he woke again at 6:30am, so I managed to stay in bed from 11:30pm-6:30am!!!! Then we went back to bed from 7:30am till now!
Just looking at Charlie now, wow, I can't believe how he's suddenly filled out. He has gone from the 45% to the 55% for weight. That's my boy!!! And that was a couple of weeks back.
When do they get measured again?
He's rolling over constantly now. I can't leave him anywhere lol. He was also really sucking my finger in bed earlier, so might give him some Nelson's granules just incase he's teething. He's constantly dribbling.
Kira is bringing round her old Jumperoo later. Can't wait!!!!!!! heehee
Hope everyone is well! I'm starting to think summer is a complete write off. So much for going back to work with a healthy tan!!
Katie - hope you have a nice day in the sun!!!!
Ro - Hi!!!!Yes, not sure how we will go around supporting the South African Rugby team when one day Charlie might play for England haha

Morning
Thanks hun, heres hoping!!
Glad you had a big stretch of sleep, I kept wakin up every time he sniffed or anything haha!
Hope Charlie likes the Jumperoo, isn't it funny how excited we get over things, I can't wait for the bounce about thing to come!!
Think you are right re summer, I was actually thinking this morning that I must get Aiden some long sleeved vests in 3-6, I only bought sleeveless/short sleeve thinking it would be sunny!!!
Aiden is always dribbling too, and he sucks on our hands or his toys. I might get some granules in town, I hadn't thought of that.
Not sure about getting measured, I take Aiden to be weighed every 2 weeks at the clinic, is it the same in your area - you can just go whenever? I must get Aiden measured length ways properly, did it myself the other week and he had grown 11cm since birth

Seren was the original girls name we had, chosen from the Liringlas people on the isle of Serendair in the Rhapshody series. Brilliant fantasy series....
The Walking Dead is fantastic- they've done their homework before making it....
Ah I see :-) My nickname is the go to one when I can't get my usual ones on sites its welsh seren = star disglair - shining0 -

Yes, we can take him whenever. They only measured him the first time, but said they only measure again later. He was in the 75% for head size, so we were calling him big head for a while haha.
Ah, hope he loves the bounce a bout!!!! The great thing about that too, if you want to sit outside, its easy just to take it outside and keep them in it. Its the perfect size for moving around the house/taking up stairs etc. That's one of the main reasons we'll definitely be hanging onto it, plus Charlie LOVES it haha

Thats why we went for that one as our house isn't huge downstairs and it says it folds up, obv until I win my scratchcard later and we move lol - then I'll have loads of room!!
When I've been getting him weighed I've seen afew people say can you do his length and they do - but may be diff where you are?
Right, nap time here, back later xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

I think our front room is going to be taken up pretty much entirely by the jumperoo when he's big enough for it, we only live ina one bed flat!
Good luck on the scratchy Sunshine, I'm temped to get a ticket for the euro millions tomorrow. Even just a little win would be nice, doesn't have to be the jackpot. Wouldn't say no if my numbers came up thoughNewborn thread member

Has anybody seen anywhere that sells vests with collars so that they look like polo tops tucked into jeans?
I can find them on ralph lauren etc but I was thinking more like 5 for £10-£12 not 1 for £35 ish lol... preferably in bright primary colours or blue and green
(Have also posted this on the pregnancy thread so sorry if you read both!)
Incase anybody else was interested I found:
Next do them for about £6-£9 each depending on the material so £6-7 for polo types and £8-9 for shirt types.
H&M do them in either 2 pack of polo types (1 x white & 1 x baby blue) for £3 a pack so only £1.50 each or about £5-6 each for special ones e.g I bought one that has boy tie and one that was grey with a denim collar for only £6 each
Asda has been suggested but I haven't had a chance to get there yet:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -

Thats the same view as me Katie lol, I'm not greedy - I just want enough to pay off my mortgage!! Although of course i wouldnt turn down the winning ticketLittle monkey is asleep so I'm going to dry my hair and do his bag for later.
