Ro - you will have to post some pics :D

I got a call from the health visitor today, Noah is due his development check. Has anyone had one yet? I'm not sure what they do/check? sunshine I'm pretty sure Aiden had one if I remember correctly.

Yea we had one. They weigh and do length. They had some toys out on the floor and check they can grasp and pick up toys. Ask if they are sitting up, crawling, if they are standing against furniture etc. They hold a stick thing and see if thier eyes follow it, make sure they can hear by seeing if they follow a noise.
Ask you if they are making any sounds yet. They also check thier hips and thier bits too. Think thats it! Ours only took 15-20mins.

Oh they also gave me a questionnaire about how you are feeling etc and ask how baby is in general.

Noah will sail through :) x

I'm due ours (they do them at 9 months here) - delaying it till nearer a year though - not prepared to have her negatively labelled because she's not ticking all the official boxes yet.

It's 9 months here too but I only just got a phone call about it, I expect they are busy. Noah will be nearly 11 months when he has to go!!
