So it sounds like you have been supplied a rug which is the same colour as the one that you saw in the shop. Is that right?
If so, then I believe you have no cause for complaint.
This is exactly on the money. You had the chance to examine the goods in the store - the colour wording is irrelevent to the situation as is your not reading the T&Cs, that is your problem that you didn't bother to read them, not the stores'.
They gave you the opportunity to, the fact you chose not to bother is your lookout.
Edit: when I say you I am referring to the OP
Let it be a lesson to you.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
This looks "teal" harveysfurniture.co.uk/products/accessories/categories/rugs/razzle-dazzle-teal-rug--large-.aspx (add the http:// yourself it won't let me) but it is not that colour that you get. The sale person even looked at that page to get the code to stick on the order. But what you get is NOT the colour you see on the screen. Think I have found the answer to my own problem here. He looked up the rug and took the info from the web site, thus at the point of sale I was using their web page as the last point of reference and thus the colour of rug in store does not factor into the sale. Negating their argument that I had seen the colour in store.0

linky
I would go back and state it is not teal, you specified a teal one. Hard to tell on this pic though, (could be the bad light here) although there is a sofa with a rug next to it which does look teal not green0 -

Having agreed that, the salesman used the web to get the details of the product to record on the order/invoice.0 -
OP is the one they have delivered this colour?
http://www.harveysfurniture.co.uk/products/accessories/categories/rugs/razzle-dazzle-mixed-green-rug--large-.aspx
Is the rug they have delivered as teal the same colour as the rug you saw in the store before you placed the order?
Or have they delivered the green rug mis-labelled as teal?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Just found this on the Next site, looks green to me.is this a similar colour to yours OP? http://www.next.co.uk/x491064s4?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_search&utm_campaign=googleps#472514x490

OP - you appear to be dodging the obvious question asked 2-3 times now. Is the rug delivered the same colour as the one you saw in the store?Thinking critically since 1996....0

did they send the wrong colour then? Go back to the store, look at the rug you thought you'd picked. If it's the same, probably not a lot you can do unless they have an exchange policy - if it's different, then it's not what you ordered and can request refund/exchange.0

Otherwise, why would the OP say...He looked up the rug and took the info from the web site, thus at the point of sale I was using their web page as the last point of reference and thus the colour of rug in store does not factor into the sale. Negating their argument that I had seen the colour in store.
Sadly, I fear the OP will not be confirming this.0 -
if it is described as teal and is 'green' then it is not as described..I would go back and state it is not teal, you specified a teal one. Hard to tell on this pic though, (could be the bad light here) although there is a sofa with a rug next to it which does look teal not green
Of saw and inspected the item and the colour instore. If it didn't look teal they didn't have to go ahead and buy it.
This is not a valid argument in ops case, since I highly doubt op will now say the item received is different to the one viewed.0
