  • Hi All - A quick post. just to say made £11.20 over the weekend in sales, and still have a couple of bits that finish this week - One of them has several watchers and if it sells - yep means i get to the magical number..but depending on how much depends on how close - though to be honest it could be 1p under and I would not care..lol.
It finishes on Thursday - so have everything crossed..

    Hope everyone is well x

  • Morning All - One week to pay day :D. Well made a few more sales overnight, so off to the post office later..:T Another £30.00 into my savings account. Hopefully can hold out another week so it can all be placed on the CC.
Need to make another £100 and then that CC with the MASSIVE apr can go and never come back.
If I don't do the sales, or I have a drama between now and then ( see being sensible) then I may have to wait until the end of next month .
However if expenses get paid ( has been known to take a few months) then we are all good.
Other than clearing my CC I should be in brand new territory .....the 39's...very exciting stuff. Will be trying to have a very MSE weekend this weekend - the more I list, the more I sell etc etc..:T
Anyway better get back to work - have a good day x

Sounds like you are making great progress, so exciting that you will soon be able to get rid of the CC with the massive APR.
And go you on listing on ebay, I've been getting a bit bored with it recently so going to try and take inspiration from you and get on with it :D

  • Hi - Well a dance has started in my house - I have had an outstanding weekend on the bay of e - in fact some things have sold for much more than I ever expected too and I have this evening been paid for everything.:j Which means that I did not wait until the end of the week ( yes I know I promised) but have this evening called, paid off and cleared by largest APR CC. it should be showing on my account by Tuesday so can be closed from them.. I have also managed to get another £0% so have transferred the next highest APR onto this ( well as much as I can anyway), This has left me with £275 ish to clear this card - which is my next target - However if my expenses do happen this month - I can infact clear this one aswell..:j:j:j:j:j:j
I do recognise I am rambling - but I know anyone reading this will understand how happy this can make you - its a weird feeling and such a real buzz - the thought of actually another one gone is fantastic - But now after all some jiggery pokery and recalulating - Mr A and I now stand at £38,509.17 owed !!! :T
I know this is still a massive task and will still take months/years to clear but for now my 5 mins of fame is that my target was to be in the 39's by the end of the month and I have overachieved and got into the 38's....I am sooooo happy right now, I might need a lie down.:rotfl:
Anyway if just shows what the bay of e can help with - especially when I in all honesty have been a little stronger on the decisions of clearing stuff than I have in the past..I mean I sold 3 old chargers for toothbrushes and have made over £20.00 between them all - I mean who knew????:T Anyway I will be sorting the shed next week - so hopefully some more treasures appear - but for now my next target is to raise £275.00 to clear my next card off - then after that it is a cold hard slog for the others, although all except one is on £0% so its bad but not as bad as it could be.

Anyway off to read some other diaries Take Care xx

Hi there Aamberle, I had a bit of time so I caught up with your diary. Well done on keeping motivated even through the down times, that shows that you really DO want to clear it this time. Because you didn't just think stuff it and go spending!:j

How is OH doing with HIS targets, who is getting the breakfast in bed?
