So it's been a few weeks since my last post. Things are going well in the A household - still on the ebay front anyway..I got a little carried away last month and was paying my debts off and forgetting to keep enough in the kitty for the usual DD's..so had 1 bounce - sorted it and paid it ( by a bit of juggling, but have decided to now only make payments once or twice a month- as I dread to think what the charges are these days for a bounced DD -oops. Anyway lesson learned.
Anyway on a plus side have £596 to go to get to the next big number - which is very exciting.
I have lost 6lb - which is good but a teeny tiny fraction of what I need to lose -but I am going in the right way.
Must dash - running a little late for work, will catch up with all the diaries later - Take Care xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

sounds like you are doing well with both working towards debt free, and also the weight loss. Bet you can't wait to get down to that next big number

Hey, you've almost snuck under £40k while I've been gone
That's great! Sounds like next month you might do it? Well done on losing 6lb too, I know how hard it is - DH and I are always on and off the diet!! Amazing progress as always

So it would appear sometimes the best laid plans and all that
.
Anyway morning all - Tuesday is here and so is the rain..well I suppose it had to happen soon, we had a few days of sun.
Anyway little update - not posted on here for a few days, as have been getting my head round debts. A little while back I got myself a cashback CC - on the basis that all the travelling I do I could put on there, once a month pay it off and earn £'s for doing what I always do. Great I thought - alas no..what I forgot to factor in is that the money goes in full so it takes my months travelling spends straight away instead of through the month..which has left me short and I mean really short - as one point i had 0.03p left. ( thanks gosh for ebay). Anyway have decided to give that up as a bad idea - so now have £450.00 added to my debt  Have been really depressed about it - as I was on such a high about kicking these through. But hey onwards and upwards...( I can say that now - last week was a completely differing story :rotfl:).
Anyway off to update signature - ((stomps off to back of room)).
Have a good day x2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Hi Aamberle,
Tey not to beat yourself up too much, it was a genuine mistake, it's not as though you have gone round frittering money away, and you have already made good inroads into the extra so I'm sure you will get there. Chin up, you are still doing so well :T

Thanks Guys for the support - really means a lot
. It's funny how complete strangers probably know more about whats going on in your personal life than your friends..lol. Although I prefer virtual friends than strangers. X
Anyway great news - I have sold since yesterday morning....( drum roll please)....£100.00 worth of stuff, which means subject to how the month finishes I will have kicked out number 40 and now working on number 39...Not doing a celebration yet as we have established over the last few months that my budgeting is maybe a little skewiff at times. So will be sensible and move it to my savings account once all paid and keep there until the very last day of the month..that way of I need it it is there - if i don't I can celebrate.;).
Also been told I may qualify for a bonus at the end of the month only teeny and even smaller once the taxman gets hold of it..but its something and I am hoping to work on the latest addition to my CC collection as the rate of interest is unthinkable..
So with a few more sales and a bonus maybe in October or November I can say goodbye to it.:T
Anyway enough rambling..I need to get on with some work.

Great news on the sales and on the bonus fingers crossed. Hope you defeat that high rate interest card soon
and looking forward to seeing that 39:T
I know what you mean about virtual friends, in realy life only my OH, and two friends know about my debt, and I don't say much to one of them, as she has a lot of debt too but hasn't had her LBM yet, so we have very different attitudes, so it's often easy to come on here and chat with people who are all doing the same as me
