    It's Friday! What an exhausting week... but have made it through. Managed to not buy lunch all week (not saying my packed lunches were exciting, but at least I made them!) Recently have not been great at making them, and just using personal spend to buy something instead but am determined to cut this down to just 'special' lunches, rather than a regular occurrence.

    I've also not gone to a cashpoint all week, so my spends have been minimal.

    We've had the first share scheme returned and have £1850 on its way to us. This will go towards repaying the car loan. It's a lot more than I thought, so I think when we get the second lot of details we might be able to manage an OP too :D.

    £1.50 refund from delayed tube journey in post too.

    This weekend I hope to:
    * [STRIKE]possibly attend welsh playgroup (depending on tiredness level!)[/STRIKE] DD ill so skipped it
    * tidy whole house to try and find mobile (and work notes)
    * [STRIKE]out for friend's birthday (present already bought)[/STRIKE]
    * pick up wrapping paper and bday cards x 2
    * [STRIKE]meal plan[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]food shop[/STRIKE]
    * first gymnastics session for DD
    * declutter a little
    * put away laundry in spare room
    * [STRIKE]change bedding[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]washload x 3[/STRIKE]
    * hang out maternity wardrobe
    * pack up non-maternity items
    Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

  • DD was ill yesterday so had quiet day. Took DS to park for a walk in the beautiful sunshine, and had a nap when he did, lovely! Went out for friend's drink, is so nice to not feel dreadful all the time after 2 months of morning sickness.

    Not sure if overdid it, but today I blacked out after getting out of bed, so am thinking a bit less ambitiously about the day. OH doing food shop with DS, have let DD have a lie in. Now going to drink lots of liquids and watch a bit of telly.

    Congratulations MW what fantastic news, Have a good weekend and take it easy :D
    MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁
  • Thanks newgirly. Have just switched our energy as fixed deal had ended and now on standard rate - £100 a year saved and £30 cashback to come. Took 10 mins :D.

    Also have bought some gr0upon vouchers for wildlife park - that will be out next family day out in Feb. £24 spent with £6 cashback to come, well within budget.

    Spoke to midwife about blacking out and they said your blood volume doubles and waters down at 12-13 weeks, probably reaction to that. Rest and keep an eye on it. Will go to nurse in morning to ask for blood pressure check.

    DD much better and raring to go to her first gymnastics class!

    Take it easy and, as Alchemilla says, especially when it comes to driving. If lying down sit up and stop for a minute or two before standing up, too. xx

    Thanks for the tip on getting up carefully greent. Have been fine all day, but will definitely pop to nurse in morning.

    *whispers I can't drive :o*

    Bit more decluttering done whilst kids played in same room. Two boxes for charity, half a bin liner of rubbish and a lot of recycling. The office WILL be cleared this month! (there are still 6 lg boxes of stuff to go)
