Some great progress with tidying up current account, and a good reminder for me to check our direct debits and standing orders.

Ok, ok! Maybe OH (and you guys) have a point! :p

DD has been offered a full time place at the nursery round the corner. Woohoo! :j Start settling mid-Sep, can't wait for childfree commutes again!! Costs tbc in September but will be less than paying now once 30 hours calculated.

Real surveys starting to come through on 0nepoll today, 30p earnt. :D

Eeked lunch items out and had only planned snacks.

A TT of 76p, noticed a few things came out that had been bought a few days before so already £16 down.

Took DD to softplay for free session this morning and the thing she loved most was the IKEA play till... Guess what her main present is going to be? She'll love it! (And at only £14, so will I!) Plan to pick it up on the weekend.

KMed toys in living room focusing on the playfood and play kitchen and a lot of duplicate items are now ready for charity. Much tidier and DD2 playing with them more already.

Finally got DS diagnosed with something that the GP has been misdiagnosing for a year. Great news as now we can begin the right treatment, downside it needed a private referral which will cost us £100 excess. And yes, it was exactly what I thought it was when I took him to the doctors many many months ago. Hope this excess comes through in August as will really scupper my budget.

Early night needed. Paperwork still staring at me. Cleaner comes tonorrow so MUST get that cleared at least.

    Late evening due to:
    a) trying to find that blinking Meet & Greet deal... searched history, tried every single parking company on TCB, and could I find it? Could I heck! Instead found a v v reputable one for £95 direct, £65 cheaper than quoted via agents from TCB but no cashback. Booked it before I lost it again. Which is fine BUT:
    b) I had a 'Spend £10 and get a £2.50 cash bonus' via TCB which ends midnight tonight. Cue me spending ages with really complicated holiday travel insurance quotes which get really messy (and expensive) once you declare all of our various health issues. Felt like crying, decided too complex a decision to make now and couldn't think of a single other thing wanted or needed to buy BUT THEN:
    c) Remembered DS will DEFINITELY need school trousers next size up for new school year. Ge0rge, £3 a pair, 5 pairs bought, free collection, 5% cashback + £2.50 bonus.

Blinding! Now I can finally drag myself to bed. Night all!

A plea: please please please can someone shout at me if I start posting late at night! Ended up unable to sleep til 2am and now feel a right mess. I've been unwell and am recovering with the meds but it will be a long journey and the first priority is my health. I've just been unable to handle keep myself calm during my cancellation call with V!rgin, I'm so cross with them about overcharging for a rubbish service and then after 15 min wait first call was disconnected . I'm normally very courteous as I've worked in customer service so disappointed with myself for being rude when I finally got back through. Back in bed with a herbal tea and a book in an attempt to practice some self-care.
