Hello Ladies - back after my three night shifts.
Had a UU of day cream which I posted a few days back, and opened a 'hope in a jar' that I had. Well, I'm begining to wonder just how long I have had this jar, and exactly just how long hope lasts!!
Have used it for three days and so far it has caused three spots - just great as I have a wedding to go to on Saturday! Also, it smells kind of funny, but I seem to remember thinking this the very first time I used it. I do love the texture tho. So, have found a 30ml PCMC that I am going to use for the next few days, then will give HIAJ another go. Anymore spots and it's going in the bin. Lesson to self, products 'go off' do not buy more than you can use!
Am catching up on the thread and will post as I go along. I'm getting in later due to the new job and am generally shattered at night as well but I'm getting there!
Scrappie I have only tried HIAJ once and was put off by both the smell and the texture. In fact I've tried a few bits of Philosophy skincare and none of it has done anything for me. I was impressed with the Purity cleanser as it cleared up the milia I had at the time but then left my skin tight.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. WIBA? Maybe, I really liked them but would go for smaller sizes next time, these lasted me 6/7 months!!
I'm working my way through these huge sizes too and am keen to buy again. The shampoo I bought whilst in the US and has a pump on it though the conditioner here doesn't have one and is becoming diffictult to get out of the bottle. Anyone know where I can buy the bottles with pumps for next time or where I can buy pumps on their own?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I realised the other night that the tube of handcream I'd been using every night since just after xmas....is in fact foot cream!!! Now I'm thinking there's not really much difference between them - except perhaps footcream is thicker?
I did this last year with a tube of L'Occitane Lavender foot cream which I had bought mistakenly thinking it was hand cream. Only looked at the label when the cream was not absorbing into my hands at all and I thought I had a dodgy tube!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Hey, have caught up with you all.
My new lacquer arrived a couple of days ago and it's gorgeous so I'll slide onto the naughty step. Update on my personal challenge is that I have saved £3.00 on UUs but spent £5.00 on the lacquer! Not so bad though compared to how I used to be. In my former toiletry addict life I would have bought both the Elemis and Leighton Denny TSVs by now reasoning that they were superb value.
Bought some bits in Sainsburys last night but I don't count these as they are items that I don't stash and were necessities. Got a box of Nutrisse hair colour - a third off the price at Sainsbury's at the moment ladies. I'm at hairdressers this afernoon for cut and blow and will apply my new colour some time next week. Also bought new toothbrushes for us all - mine was a particular bargain as it was down to £1.40 and had a small sample of toothpaste with it (ideal for MrM when he works away). Got 2 pumps of Colgate that were reduced to half price as well. So :money: I think.
Need to go to Boots today though as Emma wants me to pick up one of the Gok sets for her friend's birthday tomorrow. Made a trip into town last Wednesday as there were rumours that the 75% sale had started but alas it had not so I came away with nothing (only went in for the aforesaid Gok set anyway).
Got an email from Lena White about the OPI sale which started on Wednesday. All bottles £5.00 but I've been good.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi everyone!
Another 2 UUs to report, clearasil spot cream...wasn't quite finished but it went out of date so binned it. Also sold a cleanse and polish to a woman at work and put the money in my toiletries tub
Nearly at the end of a molton brown shower gel. So far January has been a fairly successful month!
I wouldn't buy the clearasil again, don't really think it made any difference, and I've had it so long, my skin was worse back when I first bought it. Only get one or two spots now and they're probably hormonal, just use liz Earle spot on for those.
Sitting here waiting on a Next delivery of the bed I got half price in the sale. This little house of mine is slowly coming together

Trying so hard to be good, put Leighton Denny TSV in shopping cart, pootled around for a bit, looked at bank on-line, (solvent - but things I want to buy for new house) so took it out again, that is not to say that I may not weaken later though, ladies please blow strong willed thoughts my way.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
