I have been having a rather rough week with one thing and another. work is in upheaval with moving offices so I can't find things. Lots happening in general - I just feel like I am taking a battering right now. All of which has badly affected my sleep this week so I am like a zombie. It is a real struggle to get up in the morning as I am so tired so I have been sleeping a little later and just using my dry shampoo. The result is I have another splutterer - batiste dry shampoo. My sleep improved last night and now I have a few days away from the riot at work, I would imagine it will improve again.....I need a holiday! No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380

Can I ask what you thought of this? I've been wondering because a dermatologist told me it's the one her and all her colleagues recommend to their patients as it's supposed to be the best facial sunscreen. How long did you have it before it went off?
Hi Skyllo. I have had it over two years and although it smells OK - I don't want to risk it as it has a shelf life of 24months opened and with sunscreen I want them to be as effective as possible. I love the Sunsense range and have been using them for years - I like the roll- ons they do and stock pile every year. I think the tinted facial one is OK but might just use the regular roll on sunscreen this summer (or from April) instead.
One gifted IN
SBC leg smoothing gel 125ml from my friend as she knows I suffer with my legs - very kind of her to get me it and will try it tonight.0 -
start off with a couple of INs:
clearasil scrub
clearasil wipes- both to trial for glamour
they were unnecessary so will add to my sig. I have realised that I have quite a big stash of wipes which I need to use. I used to use them but now wash my face in the evening so don't need them to take off makeup. When does everyone else use them?
and a few UU:j:
homemade bath bombs x2- will make again:D
l'occitane rice face fluid sample- WBA- this is the first moisturiser I've tried that actually controls oil:eek: but at £20 a bottle, not something I'll be buying any time soon:(
alberto balsam green apple shampoo- WNBA-made my hair really dry
sold some things on ebay so will declare them as outs when they finish:j want to target my foundation samples this week, I've collected so many but never use them!
hope you all have a nice weekendToiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
salesaddict wrote: »Hi FannyAdams,
my hairdresser used the spray on Maccadamia Oil on my hair last week.
I'd never come across it before. I thought it smelt wonderful and left my hair really soft and shiny. I searched online but the cheapest I could see was about £18. Then before I knew it I had a whole set of products for about £70 odd pounds in my basket. I saw sense just in time, as I had just signed up for this challenge after an absence of a year or more with Stash growing bigger by the day......but, I can't wait to try this oil again. Got to get through all the Argan and other 'miracle' hair oils and masks first:o
I brought the bodyshop Maccadamina serum stuff for about £6 and its pretty good for making your hair straighter and smells so nice. Bottle has barely gone down and Ive had it months might be worth a try or see if they do a sample?Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Another UU :jTesco Vitamin E wipes, WBA when the price comes down, they used to be prety inexpensive but I think Tesco realised they were pretty good and the price shot up. I do however have plenty more wipes still to use first!
(I also have 3 more INs toothpaste with the Boots ACM points - silly to be counting in when they are paying me to take it away!):TLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Lordy have to go into town (as in properly London) tomorrow for a course... That could work out expensive!0

Sorry you've been having a rough week Fiasco55 - at least it's contributing to a stash reduction!
I use my face wipes after coming home from work but before going to the gym adilade - it means I don't have to cleanse my face properly (I do that after the gym) but don't have makeup dripping down my face while I'm on the treadmill! I also use them occasionally if I'm too tired to remove my makeup properly, but I only do this very rarely.
I second seasideDreamer's comment about the Body Shop Macadamia hair stuff - I only use a tiny bit at once, I'm not sure if it's ever going to go down!
3 INs for me today: I gave in to the Boots Soap & Glory 3 for 2 offer on skincare and wanted to use my 200 bonus points voucher from one of my Christmas sets. I got:
The Greatest Scrub of All
Peaches and Clean Cleanser
Feel Good Factor SPF25 Moisturiser
I didn't need them as such but I will use them all this year - my face stash despite what it might look like is nowhere near as bad as my body stash! Though I've had that Scrub Your Nose In It facial scrub from that last S&G set for over a year and it still hasn't finished - I'm beginning to think there's been a spell put on it so that I'll never use it up!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

FannyAdams
SalesAddict. I had a little sample and loved how it made my hair feel but it seems a bit of a con when it's mostly silicones and a tiny scrap of Maccadamia oil! Also I'm trying out giving my hair a break from silicones to see if it impoves the condition so I'm trying to find a more natural alternative. I'll eport back on how it compares! I've got some pure Maccadamia oil which is loads cheaper about £6/£7 but it's a little bit heavy so i'm using it as a pre-wash treatment.[/QUOTE]
Ooh I'm really pleased, this is a first time I've done a multi-quote!:)
Thank you ladies for the update on the oil. My Hairdresser thinks that somehow the spray applicator makes a difference. You know, rather than spreading it on the pads of your fingers and applying to your hair? So I was thinking of putting the oil I already have into some sort of spray applicator. I'll let you know how I get on. I do rate the Argan Oil range that they are doing in the large Superdrug stores at the moment. I have very thick, shoulder length, straight, died blonde hair (grey underneath:() so I'm always looking for products to keep my hair silky and shiny.0 -
