  • Hi, I'm new but have been trying to do this on my own since about October, so may I join too please? To be honest I didn't think I had that much left but last night I rechecked and actually had to bin a few things :( The true test will come today though I've got to go to the big Boots for OH's niquitin patches, I've managed to avoid going since before Christmas, so wish me luck!

Oh and how do you subscribe to a thread please? Thanks :)

I love January - loads of new members - welcome welcome one and all - looking forward to seeing stash lists aplenty (yes, ok - including mine - which I will do tomorrow when I dye my hair :p)

Were they the ones from Clix? Both in glass pots - one with a gold lid and one with a silver IIRC? I've got a practically unused pot of one (gold lid I think) that you can have - it's too thick for me and I'll never use it. PM me if you want it :D

I got this wrong - its the 'clear' lid pot I've got left (left side of face lol) :D

it's a lovely idea and I can see it lending itself to parties, hen nights etc but I don't think there's a business in it. Would be happy to be proved wrong though!

Minerva - I agree with the other comments regarding your idea but wanted to comment further on Helen's suggestion here. I think it would be a great idea in peoples homes - like Avon, Ann Summers, Tupperware (?), Virgin Vie etc - that way you get to keep a closer eye on your stock and tools and the clients would understand that you cant carry around every colour from every brand. Let us know if you take it further :D

I almost had some IN's :o but OH stepped in and took them off me .

I used a £5 H&M voucher I had and bought some lipbalms and handcream (none of which I needed - although one was for a gift) and then went to BS and bought MORE handcream, a spiced vanilla body butter and some gifty bits for my mum (total cost to me - £5 after sale discounts and my 'birthday' gift ;)). Got home and intended to keep one lipbalm, one handcream and the butter out and give the rest to OH to put away for future gifts - but he took it all off me and said I had enough :( :rotfl:

Seems he's learning even if I'm not :rotfl:

Hope it's not too wet and windy wherever you are - have a great day

    hello!

click thread tools at the top then click "subscribe" on the little drop down menu.

i found my willpower strengthened when i started getting UU. i don't want to ruin the fact that I'm now on a net change of -3 lol. stash lists also help because now when I'm temped i remember i have x amount of them sat at home and it'd be joining the back of that queue and not see the light of day for a year :rotfl:
  • A small UU a bar of soap that was a free sample from wild olive soap company (not sure of the flavour but it was pink and quite nice!) it had a good lather and it wasnt drying at all.

    Hello

I used to post and read this thread regular - until my laptop crashed and I couldnt get back online as I'd forgotten the password :( managed to sort it out a few days ago.....wonder who's still around that I remember.

Wish I could say I'm reformed, but I'd be lying :rotfl:However, I'm not quite as bad as I was - honest :D

U/U today....body shop cranberry bath and shower gel. Had been in my cupboard a few years as I was only using it for baths, but I got it out as its christmassy and used it up in the shower.

Also chucked out a couple of Avon body sprays that my teenage daughter dumped in the bathroom a few months ago because she didnt like them. Tested them last night, and I agree with her!

Hah thank you, I find that and Debenhams are worst for spending loads of money on toiletries and make up in.

Oh well I wanted to 'quote' evilsquid too but I don't know how to multiple quote either. Hah I was going to say thanks for showing me how to subscribe.

I agree now I've not got much of some things like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel I feel like I've got to buy some, but I will be strong...I hope lol.

I've also decided just to use OH's deodorant as he has 8/10 cans I think and I'm running out of mine. Hope I don't smell too manly :/ lol.

to multi quote click the button next to quote with the pink and orange speech bubbles in then when you click quote on the final post you want to quote, all the ones you selected should appear too. took me a while to figure that one out!

with stuff I'm running out of, i think one in use and one in the stash is where I'm eventually going to aim for. don't want to get caught short of anything :rotfl:
