Should I use it now and buy a new one later. I generally don't use sunscreen in winter as sunny days are few and far between in Scotland. My friend thinks that a sunscreen is necessary in all seasons.
they have an opened shelf life of 12 months once opened because the uv filters start to decay and don't work as well. march would take you to 11 months so it should still work ok.
i only use spf on my face in winter. i don't know anyone who goes out without at least one layer covering up pretty much all of their body at the moment and if skin isn't out in the open, uv rays just don't hit it (hence tan lines in summer). if you use it on your body now, it is completely unnecessary and just a waste of money and sun cream.0 -
UU Lush snowcake soap from the secret santa gift set - WNBA the smell was ok, but it didn't last very long and left my skin feeling quite dry.
INs - Denise McAdam Shampoo & Conditioner for coloured hair. Was on offer at Tesco and i'm running out so got a bottle of each.:j0 -

Morning ladies,
I have my first 3 UUs of 2012!
M&S garden collection lavender hand & body lotion 50ml - WNBA, it was ok, but nothing special. Bought as part of a 3 part set for £1
M&S ingredients lip balm (label worn off so don't know what flavour it was!). Not sure if this is still made, but it was a nice enough product.
Batiste blush 200ml WBA - ahve already opened the new one from my stash. Didn't know about this until I joined this thread!
Have now opened my Liz Earle hand cream, this was my HG but it seems the formula has been changed and it doesn't smell as nice as it used to. What a shame.
kiplingmonkey wrote: »Aww - you guessed my other obsession - Kipling and Radley bags - altho'I have to say I am not liking the new style Radley so perhaps that could be one addiction under control at last!
Snap. I did have a Radley obsession, but thanks to them changing the style, it has vanished. I wonder if they'll do a U-turn one day.Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end - Edward Whymper0 -
One unintentional IN - small tube of SPF 30 face cream sent to me by Valued Opinions to test. At least it didn't cost me anything!
minerva_windsong, others have already commented on your idea very eloquently so I won't - it does sound like a good idea but I don't know if I would use it myself - I'm not really one for going out to get my nails done, or anything else other than my hair. I tend to just stay at home for my pampering!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

yay - finished the boots face serum (had enough for one cheek left lol).... WIBA? Probably yes. I find its a lovely consistancy like the No7 one at a tenth of the price. Must finish rest of face stash up first tho.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

I was very good last night. I got out a new No 7 Blissful body wash, TBS cocoa butter lotion (I think, I can't remember now but it's white and a pump action), and ran a nice deep bath. Whilst it was running, I took off all of my old NV and painted my toe nails a very nice dark blue colour.
After my bath, I moisturised all over. I can tell it's been too long in between because I needed loads of the stuff. Serves me right for just jumping into warm clothes every time I have a bath.
Now thinking about hopping back into bed for a little bit as I'm working tonight. I've tidied the house so don't need to worry about thatDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on my nail thing - all opinions very much appreciated!
I have to admit that it was just a thought that I'd had kicking around for a while and thought might be a nice idea for way way in the future, rather than anything I was going to jack my job in for and devote myself to fulltime. The aspect that the stuff is quite easily nickable was one of my big concerns, as was the hygiene aspect, so I guess those two points make it not really all that viable. I suppose there would also be issues around being able to have more than one brand as well, as presumably salons have exclusivity with a specific brand and then the brands would kick up a fuss about not being the only one available. :lovethoug:lovethougOh MoneyQueen...I love you! :lovethoug:lovethoug
Alas, it needs some serious editing as I am sure I've used up loads of things that I didn't even count as part of the stash in the first place (old make-up I've thrown away, mainly), but overall it has been a great help - thanks for rooting it out for me. How on earth did you do it?! I've searched via my name and every item I could possibly think of that was on there. Thanks muchly! :T
And to all of you out there who can't *quite* bring themselves to make a stash list, please at least make a record of your UUs: you have NO idea how motivated seeing that list increase and putting your latest UU on it will make you feel! :cool:Please call me 'Pickle'
