Ooh, I've got that! I had to stop using it as it interferes with a beauty treatment I am having, but I know exactly what you mean about the bronzing beads: I break them with my fingers and mix them in the moisturiser to give it an even colour before I apply it. It's the first time I've ever tried a tinted moisturiser, and I'm not too impressed. I get the impression that other ones are generally better...tell me it is so, ladies! (And any recommendations? I hear Bobby Brown's is good. ;) )
I like the Clarins or clinique moisture surge one, they are a bit pricy but they work for me and as someone else suggested I am sure the sa will sort out the colour you need and give you a sample if you say you are looking for a new foundation

just been checking my credit card online as DH spent all afternoon in his office(that man works too hard!):eek::eek::eek: how come I have again managed to spend more money than I have earned????
Decided to revive "frugal Feb" and not buy anything at all that is not really necessary, then holiday at the beg of march so no need to buy food then and should hopefully save a bit:rotfl:......downside is I will have nothing to fess up about so could go rather quiet on the forums:rotfl:at least I will get paid at the end of feb for the work I have done this month and with luck will earn a bit extra from the stuff i have made for the church coffee mornings(mind you as an hourly rate for the marmalade I did I will probably get about 10p an hour:rotfl::rotfl: as I made labels on the laptop and tied on fabric tops with ribbon plus all the time making the stuff and then looked online to see waitrose selling it for less than it cost me to make:(.Am planning to charge £2 a pot for organic seville marmalade but don't know if people will pay that.I always make it to give to friends who love it so can always use it,trouble is I made 14 jars and have enough sevilles in the freezer as ran out of jars for another 14:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • wohoo - 2 UU's which is fab news.

John Frieda thickening shampoo - WIBA? absolutely not, I've yet to see which strand of hair it thickened.

Sally Hansen non acetone nail varnish remover - WIBA - probably or whatever non acetone brand is cheapest.
    NO FARMS = NO FOOD
  • I was doing so well and so close.... but with my £5 off vouchers I had build up in boots getting medications and bits for my mum and sister.... I ended up with 8 vouchers burning a hole in my purse! I spent a total of about £27 and got about £75 worth of products (thats including my staff discount as well as the vouchers off).

Not to mention for my birthday I got 2 perfume sets with the shower gel and body lotion too.... and the free clinique mascara! Oh and the dry shampoo - which i did need as had none.

So a total of 15 items in on a month I was intending to buy nothing! Big. Fat. FAIL! lol ... but it was a lot of bargain items hey ;)

  • I'm another one who had issues with the Soap & Glory tinted moisturiser! Was so glad when it finished, it lasted absolutely ages. Don't know why I stuck with it either as I don't even like tinted moisturiser, I prefer the 'pale and interesting' look.

Dyed my hair this morning so need to get more hair dye in. Also used up a Montagne Jeunesse face mask.

Forgot to declare my INs from Thursday - Lush's limited edition Valentine's stuff. Sweetheart soap, Leap Frog ballistic, magic mushroom bubble bar and Chou Chou I Love You Toothy Tabs. Also some Dragon soap!

  • Thanks for all the S&G tinted moisturiser reviews, I'm definitely going to steer clear of that product, no matter how cute their packaging is.

    I have another OUT:

Going to GA the Rimmel blush in winter glow. The product was nice, but I'm really not liking the packaging.

Yes I'm a bit odd when it comes to packaging hahaha it's SUPER important for me.

Another UU ladies: a Karen Millen highlighting stick. (I'm not sure what it was called exactly, but it was a goldy/beige colour with sparkles in it and it was meant to highlight any body areas you wanted. I just used it as a natural-looking eyeshadow, and now it it gone, I have to learn how to do decent eyeshadow! (Any recommendations for easy-to-apply cream eyeshadows, ladies, as I'm rubbish at applying eye make-up?)

WIBA? Not an option...it was an end-of-range that I bought at an outlet.

If you want a nice cream e/s, you could try the benefit cream shadow liners or Mac paint pots, or wait and see if the maybelline eye tattoo cream shadows ever make it over here. Or the Urban Decay 24/7 shadow sticks (esp. Sin) are great as well!
