    Morning ladies,

    You've been busy as always!

Sadly I have (a lot) more INs to declare. Mum is visiting and brought some of the Boots 75% sale goodies with her. She took them out of the bags/boxes, so not sure what was in which set, but I now have about 15 bottles, minis & full sizes of Champneys and Sanctuary. Plus the No7 gwp minus 2 products, which Mum kept.

It's ridiculous. I have enough body lotion to last all year and enough shower gel for 2 years. Therefore, if anyone catches me declaring any such products for the rest of the year, you may hit me over the head with an (inflatable) hammer.

The BS Dewberry I was using as a bath foam is now my shower gel and it is divine. Lathers up better than anything else and smells gorgeous. Reminds me of my school days where Dewberry was all the rage, especially body spray. Lipbalms were also all the trend, we used to compare collections in class, well hidden in pencil cases. Oh dear, you can see where it all started......

Think I have found my HG body lotion. Well, souffle. It's the Sanctuary one. My mum donated it to me and I opened it last week. It's beautiful, smells fab and has a weird but lovely texture, almost bubbly. Will now have to concentrate on using up my inferior body butters so that I can buy this all the time!

I love this too!! Just as well as I have a few in the stash!

    24. sample of sanctuary facial oil- quite liked this but i think it is expensive.
Have read some rave reviews about this so want to try it out when my current serum has run out.

Unfortunately, I have a UU to report, only I didn't use it up... My liz Earle spot on fell on the bathroom floor and smashed. It's my HG. I let out a long scream. Gutted. Will need to buy another to replace it, don't have any other spot treatments.

On the up-side, the bathroom smells of tea tree and lavender...

Pity. This happened to me with a sample size of LE Superskin that tipped over. It was virtually full too!

    Have a good week all

DH away again(only 1 night this week)last time he went to this hotel he brought me the soap back as he thought I'd like it(he is away so much he had stopped bringing stuff)it was arran aromatics one of my fav brands so told him to bring all the toiletries back this trip:rotfl:
started to trawl the stash for stuff to take on holiday,we are too mean to pay for two cases(Ryan Air now charge £50 a 15kg case return:mad::mad:) so I take all the main things like shampoo and toothpaste and have worked out how much we need and any bits remaining I leave at the hotel

Ahh dewberry! i probably wouldnt like it now because I hated school so much it would remind me of then!
  • Another UU to report:

L'Oreal Anti-Dandruff Active Selenium Shampoo 400ml - WBA as is good stuff and the bottle lasts forever, but experience has taught me not to use it every time I wash my hair, as it dries my hair out badly... had to use conditioner every time. Also it's yellow and stains the bath & tiles = I have to scrub the place everytime I use it.

These charges just keep on getting worse. I've always thought easyJet as better than Ryanair, but even they now have a mysterious "admin fee" of £9 per booking. What admin? Me booking flights myself, entering passport details myself, printing boarding pass out myself????

Back on topic: I'm ploughing my way through 3 coloured mascaras and hate them all. They are nowhere near as good as the traditional ones. Do you ladies also find this or is it just me?

    Happy belated birthday littlepinkstars :j

Rosemary I agree about shopping online - it really doesn't feel like you're spending; even if you were to spend the same amount online and in-store, the online purchase feels like less iykwim?

Adela can they not remove the cataracts?

I'm pretty tempted by the EA foundation swap, but as I'm still using the MyFace liquid & Benefit compact, I shall resist for now :) I did browse QVC after eveybody's posts but resisted again :j

To all those who have bought NAKED2, stop tempting me!! :o

Asset I'm sorry to hear work is the same :( Have a *hug* :)

VALM I love the idea of your beauty fund pot :)

Sorry sunshineyday ;) But I bet you're going to love it!! :)

No UUs for me. Sister2 has run out of shampoo/conditioner so has been using mine, and boy has the level dropped!! Not sure if I want to re-buy (TIGI Catwalk Sleek Mystique), so may get the Happy (or Hippy as I call it) Hair from MrB.

Not to tempt anybody, but the Christmas Philosophy sets were reduced further when I went in on Saturday. The individual minis (only Peppermint Bark left) were £2.50 (got them cheaper on glitch before Christmas), the Cranberry Joy was £5 and Fun in the Frosty Air was £8. I obviously have enough shower gel for a good while, so did not purchase (though obviously being the addict I am I was tempted :p)

Sorry for the epic post, it's so much easier to post from the work pc than my mobile!

It's insane how much sisley stuff costs. I had an eye cream given to me and I had no idea what it was. Went online and almost fell off my chair when I saw how much that tiny product cost.

Latest in Beauty is wonderful, but I must resist :A

  • Happy Monday everyone! Talk about freezing, burrrrr....went to walk my pup this morning and made sure both of us were bundled up ha.

I am going in strong ladies! This month is almost over, and I'm doing my best at using up all my products. After all, this is why I joined the challenge. I have no idea why I kept so many products that I actually didn't like??? I guess I thought it was wasteful, but I really feel great about finishing these up.

    UU's:
Boots Botanics Bath Elixir - WIBA? I wouldn't buy it again, it's not because I didn't like it, but it's because I want to try other products, but for what it cost, it was a very good bath elixir. Smelled very earthy (for those of you who hate that scent), but it was thick and bubbled up quite nicely in the bath. It reminded me of some Aveda oil, but I can't remember the name.

S&G spray on body moisturising mist - WNBA - This was given to me a few months ago, and I just didn't think it did much for me. It smelled ok, but it didn't really moisturize as much as I wanted it too.

No 7 Cleansing body polish - WNBA - this was a birthday present, and although I thought it was nice to have a body polish in the shower (as I recently ran out of my fav. mama mio one). I just didn't think there were enough exfoliating beads in the polish to make it worth £10.

Jack Black Beard Lube - WBA - I know this sounds an odd product, it's actually a high end men's shaving cream, but it works wonders for me. The scent is nice and "minty" as it's made with jojoba and eucalypus, so it's not very "manly". This is such a great moisturising shaving gel, I absolutely love it, and so does DH.

Boots nail polish remover - WBA - even though I shoudn't use 100% acetone, this does do the job and it's cheap.

I really hope by June, I can get my collection down to one of each item, and not hoard so much.
And I have been putting a £1 away for each product I finish, so I hope to treat myself to something nice this summer :)
