Hi ladies, hope everyone has had a good weekend.
I have had a good weekend on the toiletry front, more went out than came in anyway!
It was my mums birthday so I took her to get her nails painted in town. I've got mine done in a silver Essie polish, first time I've ever had a manicure and the amount of cuticle that she took away was disgusting, so much dead skin!
I gave my mum a S&G Hand Food which came in a set I got in the Boots sale and also my free L'Occitane hand cream which I picked up when we were in town. I am such a good daughter :A
I am throwing out 2 mascaras, I was going to swap them at Clinique but never got round to it.
Clinique High Impact Curling mascara - WNBA as it was impossible to remove! Ended up pulling clumps of it off in the shower because no make up remover could touch it
No 7 Extreme Length mascara - it was Ok, wasn't keen on the scratchy plastic brush. Have another 2 in the stash from gift sets!
One in - I used my £5 voucher on No 7 make up primer. Its my brothers wedding in a month and I am hoping this will stop my face going all shiny in photos! I tried Benefit Porefessional last year and it seemed to make my pores more noticeable so hope this doesn't do the sameNo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
Jan glossybox has once again been ruined early by bloggers. If you don't want to know avoid their Facebook. People have actually complained about the bloggers on fb about it this month thou, hopefully they'll notice and listen!
It's a diff box to the spoilers that were out but still nothing I'd choose to pay a tenner on. Id rather have my tenner this month. This threads obv having a good effect on me! Although I am hoping my LIB refresh box arrives tomorrow0 -
Feeling very pleased with myself. I have just put the January Avon and !!!!!!!! catalogues on the doorstep ready for collection in the morning and haven't ordered anything

Another vote here for the Clinique Moisture surge one - I like this better than their last tinted moisturiser I think.
I reckon you ought to be able to charge £2.50 a jar for the marmalade Rosemary - remember this is a handmade product we're talking about, none of Waitrose's mass-produced factory made rubbish!seasideDreamer wrote: »A UU for me BS moringa exfoliant WNBA, nice enough but not scrubby enough
Glad it's not just me that feels this way about it - the bits are somehow too big to feel effective.
3 tiny IN's - sachets from Glamour. 2 Foundations (A Rimmel one and a Chanel one) and a mystery face wash/mask cleanser. I'll throw the clanser into the travel stash but the foundations will get used at home. I suspect I'm not going to like the Rimmel one as it claims to give a "Radiant Glow" which in my experience is cosmetic co speak for "shiny"!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Another UU: Neutrogena Pure Glow Daily Cleansing Cushion.
WIBA? It was a free sample. It seemed to work OK, but no better than anything else. I WNBA as I find products like this wasteful to the environment as each individual cushion has to be thrown away, and if I use a muslin cloth with cleanser (which works just as well), then I get the same effect but less waste (however, for travelling it could be useful). Please call me 'Pickle'
