  • Hi!!
I am doing this challenge and it is absoloutely great!
I had so many toiletries/perfumes/nail varnishes and I am drilling it into myself not to buy ANY of these things until they run out!
And I have stuck to it!
    Yay!
    Good luck to you all!
  • I have 2 INs to report... :o

MAC Viva Glam V Lipstick and Lipglass

In my defence they're the one being used by the make up lady for my friends wedding, and I want to be able to touch up during the day.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it as I love MAC make-up. Eek.

I also have this that I'm trying to uu. Is rather old too.... stings my eyes a little bit sometimes which I'm not sure it's supposed to do! I find that it is removing my makeup ok but my mascara does tend to get smeared rather than removed!!

Finished the last of my hotel mini body lotions :T so now am on to TBS Jolly Orange, which was a freebie from before last Xmas.... slowly going down! Still got loads of mini shampoos to go. The one I just used up gave me a very itchy scalp and someone innocently suggested that little kids have head lice (cue major itchy panic all day at school- I am in Year 1). Thankfully there are none!!! Will be wearing hair up in bun for the rest of my time on placement though!!

It stung my eyes too, I had like 10% left in the bottle and just threw it away.

I hope to have more UU's this week and to get rid of this nasty cold too.
I'm really afraid though that I will have some IN's as I'm going to the IMAT's this year. Someone help me! lol

Yay for your bin diving expedition!
You only really need the SPF on the tops of your fingers and the backs of your hands so, a) cream will last quite a good time (only perhaps important if one if buying new) and b) it does not really matter if it is not so easily absorbed as we would like a hand cream to be, as don't need to rub it into the palms.

  • Some In's bought yesterday, to be fair I did need mouthwash and hair spray, the face wipes will be used up anyway.

No7 Face Wipes (£2 with the voucher)
    Aussie Hairspray
    Listerine Mouthwash

Also it's my birthday today! More toiletry In's as gifts:
    Kate Moss Lilabelle perfume
    Kate Moss Lilabelle body lotion
Hello Kitty Liberty set x 2 (my mum and my aunty bought me the same one!)
    in set:
Hello Kitty Liberty Body Wash x2
Hello Kitty Liberty Body Scrub x2
Hello Kitty Liberty Body Butter x2
Hello Kitty Liberty Body Spray x2

Also got a eyeshadow palette, but am not counting make up in this challenge.

    happy birthday littlepinkstars!!

If a product you really like is on a good offer, but you have loads of other stuff to use, would you buy it?
I ask because my favourite Body Shop butters are reduced from £12 to £3 and shower gel is half price, but I have plenty of body moisturisers and bought a load of shower gels in the boots sale! I know the Body Shop always have sales on so it'll probably be on an almost as good offer when I actually need them. I swear half of my problem is being scared of missing out on good offers!!

ps. bobbi brown concealer kit is on buyapowa and selling fast!

I have so far resisted all of January but February might be an expensive month for me. My eyeshadow primer (Too Faced Shadow Insurance) is about 3 years old and I would say there is about 1/5th left in the tube but it's started smelling a bit more plastic than usual so will need to replace. I've almost finished my daily sunscreen too and I can only get it on ebay. Then my eye cream is coming to the end of its life and the list goes on.... Still at least they are replacements and not additional IN's!

Resist, Adelight! Resist! That way the path to madness lies!

I told myself that when walking past the 3 Aussie things for £10 stand in Boots.

    Two UUs for me today:

Sanctuary illuminating day moisturiser, SPF 15. Got the dregs out of the decapitated tube. WIBA? Yes. I really liked it. It did give my face a bit of a shine, even through foundation. It's not the cheapest around (think it is £13.50 or something for 75ml) but not too bad if you get it with a £5 off voucher.

Nivea pearl beauty roll on deodorant. Now moving on to Nivea double action roll on. Not sure that the pearl one is the most effective I've ever used (I sometimes become a bit 'hot and bothered' so to speak when running for my train) but I worry that the super strong ones would be irritating and make my armpits sore. That's happened in the past with Sure. So WBA the Nivea unless anybody has a suggestion for a HG deodorant!

Also, some INs. I'm down to my last half bottle of heat protection spray for use with my GHDs. This is quite an achievement for me. Boots had 3 for 2 so bought two of my normal Trevor Sorbie protect, flatten & shine (smells lovely) and a bottle of Toni & Guy prep to try.

Keep up the good work everybody. BTW Kiplingmonkey, that is one hell of a list of INs. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was all in the goody bag!
