Just want to set the record straight here - this is the first year I have had tickets in my own right and I won them in the prize draw they ran on the website. I have been before (7 years ago) but that was thanks to a friend of mine who had been invited. I do spend quite a bit but sadly not enough to get an automatic invite

Jarus - can you tell us anything about what the book was about? If you could remember anything about what it was about then we might be able to help.
Sorry I told you it was a long shot all I can remember was that it had the word "lady" in the title and the person that had posted said they had really enjoyed it:jCross stitch cards completed 2010 -1

Hi
How do you get the quotes in different colours as you can see I failed miserably xx
No UU's or INS to report since joining.
Anyone recommend a good night cream for someone 2 years short of 50!!. I am just about to finish a wise woman one from TBS -it was ok but nothing special.

You need to put [ / quote ] (without the spaces) after the bit you've quoted - that's what makes the quoted text appear in a box."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Hey ladies, my phone is back to wanting to re-load the page every time I say thanks (my way of knowing where I was last time I caught up), so just gave up in the end! Finally on a pc and caught up properly. *Phew*
UU
Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar: WIBA? Yes. I have two left in stash, it was harder to get bubbles with than normal bubble bars, so wouldn't buy next Christmas unless format is different, but I just love the Snow Fairy scent (no, I didn't accidentally eat it like xoxo)
TBS Sweet Lemon Body Whip: WIBA? No. I don't know what I expected to smell like, but I think I ended up smelling like lemon Cif :rotfl: Onto an open TBS coconut shimmer bb and I smell absolutely lovely right now & look shimmery, if I say so myself :rotfl:
GA
Nails Inc Gift Set (5): To my bff as part of her birthday present
No7 Eyeshadow Palette: As above
I did go out to get her something, but nothing caught my eye. So for the first time outside of the family I gifted from the recent additions to the stash. I also took her to afternoon tea at the Athenameum. I did say next time we go shopping I'll get her a Benefit Ultra Shine, but would rather she pick the colour than me!! Mmm... afternoon tea. I'm meant to be on a diet! But I guess we only all turn 30 once :rotfl::rotfl:No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Jarus - I'm a little younger than you but absolutely loved the Avon "Night Emulsion" from their Anew range when I tried it. It took a bit of getting used to, you apply it quite sparingly otherwise it stings a little, but it really did suit me. I should add that I am an Avon rep so know their product ranges quite well, also should "declare an interest" if I'm recommending, of course. If you order through a local rep remember you'll have 90 days to decide if you're happy with the product and if not, get your money back, too. The Anew range has different sections for different age groups -you'll be looking for the range with the red colourscheme - take a look on the Avon website for more information.
One UU this morning - a mini sized Avon Anew Rejuvenate Day cream - WIBA? I didn't buy this one - it was a freebie! :rotfl: Love the fact that it is SPF 25 though - that's not easy to find in a regular moisturiser. Sinks in well and seems to do what it says, so I will consider it if it's on a good enough offer. I'm going to attempt to use up those sample sachets we all got last year now I think - Garnier I think they were....🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
