  • Liverpool One is a FANTASTIC branch.
As are Nottingham,York and Cardinal Place in London.
But for godsake AVOID the one at Meadowhall Sheffield. It is horrible. Meadowhall
Staff are terrible, they hover and pounce as you try to sample things, but in a very overpowering manner as if everyone will be assumed to "slip that bottle of nice product" into their bag.It is too overbearing. They never have the offer product available.Yet sometimes if a free sample is offered in a newspaper or email campaign, they say oh yes,we have the item in stock, then,No we don't have it after rummaging about under the counter. The reality is the bottle of samples are at Meadowhall reserved for themselves, their chums, the customer who is spending £200 on face cream in a gift set (Yes the corporate bought gift sets for staff leaving do's etc)If Liverpool can manage such great service, why are their counterparts in the Meadowhall Sheffield branch such witches. They are a bunch of self-congratulating,self-serving,hold back the goodies for their own bunch of meanies! The sooner that branch at Meadowhall shuts the better and then the nice lovely stores in Nottingham,York, and London can flourish with their lovely staff. One "thing in their eye" at Meadowhall was when one with got too close to a customer spraying fragrance prior to been pounced on and got some in her eye.Well what a pity the base layer of perfume wasn't battery acid. These witches could do with been sprayed!

Madara Eco hands, Deep Moisture hand cream 25ml

Hopefully some Madara will appear in Amarya or Joliebox :)

Onto Alba Science Mystery handcream :)

sorry meant no offence.just saw it on fb and thought it was funny!

Had it been true it might have been - this thing of people (not just you) blindly copying everything they read online is becoming a real problem though - and unnecessarily so as it is so simple to check what you post for truth. The search I did on Snopes.com for that took me all of about 5 seconds!

Terryj1974 - any chance of you removing the more vitriolic sections of your tirade above please? I'm sure we all appreciate that you have issues with the store, but wishing for someone to have battery acid sprayed in their face really has no place in this thread, IMO. At the end of the day it IS only Boots - hardly a life & death matter!

WIBA? Well, I never bought it in the first place (t'was a freebie!), but I WNBA as it smelt vaguely of sick. To be fair, it could have been a bit gone off as it was there for a while, but that's not a problem I will have again. ;)

1 use up - Gatineau Future Plus Anti Aging Cream 15ml. I have a jar in stock to use when I have used some other bits and pieces. It does suit my skin, light and easily absorbed too.
