Can you imagine working for a company that only has a little more than 635 employees, but, has the following employee statistics..
29 have been accused of spouse abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
9 have been accused of writing bad cheques
17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drink-driving in the last year
and collectively, this year alone, they have cost the British tax payer £92,993,748 in
expenses!!!
Which organisation is this?
It's the 635 members of the House of Commons.
The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.
What a bunch of crooks we have running our country - it says it all...
And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country - whilst trying to ensure that everyone else has the worst possible!!

I think I will be throwing out my Lush colour supplement. I haven't used it in a year and am unlikely to, the colour is just too orange and it went off in december. So that's another out:

Thank you VALM and ADELA31 for your tips.
I bought the No 7 handcream using my voucher today.
I have a small amount of a Sanctuary one with SPF15 and a Nivea Age defying one which promises UV filters.
I have just checked and find 12 assorted handcreams, most full size, many received as gifts, plus a 100ml pump dispenser by the sink and bathroom basins which I top up with whatever I fancy next, plus an Elemis Pro radiance on bedside cabinet, the Nivea in the sitting room and a BS Hemp in my knitting bag, not that I really need to belong here do I???
In order to lessen my time on the naughty step, the No. 7 is to go in the camper van ready for our jaunts when the days are longer and the threat of snow has passed. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
A few more UU:
Elemis Quiet Mind bubble bath WBA - i love this stuff. it doesn't bubble much but it smells divine.
Liz Earle Hand Repair mini WBA - sinks in fast and smells nice.
Agent Provocateur perfume sample WNBA - its a bit too overpowering for me.0 -
What a miserable day today was.
I'm going to get super busy from this point on, as I will have 2 jobs now haha.
I have an UU and an IN to report.
UU: Boots cucumber eye makeup remover gel - WNBA - total crap! Doesn't remove any of my eyeliner or mascara. Yes it was dirt cheap, but I wouldn't even use it if it was given to me for free.
IN: No 7 beautifully balanced purifying cleanser -
I'm running super low on my cleanser, and can't afford to rebuy it even though I love it so much. So for £3, i bought this no 7 cleanser. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I also have this that I'm trying to uu. Is rather old too.... stings my eyes a little bit sometimes which I'm not sure it's supposed to do! I find that it is removing my makeup ok but my mascara does tend to get smeared rather than removed!!
Finished the last of my hotel mini body lotions :T so now am on to TBS Jolly Orange, which was a freebie from before last Xmas.... slowly going down! Still got loads of mini shampoos to go. The one I just used up gave me a very itchy scalp and someone innocently suggested that little kids have head lice (cue major itchy panic all day at school- I am in Year 1). Thankfully there are none!!! Will be wearing hair up in bun for the rest of my time on placement though!!Goals for 2012: finish course; get job; new pet; ring; house; car; holiday; learn to knit; size 10; finish '50 books to read before July 18': 17/50 ; savings account: £2450.68/£6000; improve my French and German.... how many can I achieve?!No buying unnecessary toiletries 2012. Rosemary - that thing you have posted on the House of Commons is utter nonsense I'm afraid- it's an email myth that has been doing the rounds since 1999. You might find it helpful to put snopes.com into your bookmarks so you can check this sort of thing before you post it.

Hi all,
One more UU for me:
Aldi Lacura aqua complete moisturiser 50ml (as predicted) WIBA? Quite a light gel-like consistency which is nice, I might get another jar once I've got through the stash. Now on to trying a No7 lift and luminate day and night sample size duo.
I just watched the new episode of superscrimpers too, that woman from the family really annoyed me! :mad:0 -
1 UU
Claire's cherry candy hand cream - WNBA I was attracted to the packaging and cherry scent... its awful and does nothing for my hands though.0
