OUT: Boots spot wand thingy (night and day - seperate ends). WIBA: NO - thrown as it was doing nothing, tho this may be due to age. Also realised that the trouble with the wands are you are putting gunk on but at same time contaminating the wand with facial crud just to put that back on your face,,,,,,,,
unfortunatly that means IN: BOOTS Skin Clear ultra treatment cream. I'm liking it so far it's tingling so that means it's working right?? Plus I got it with points so no spend.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi everyone,
I hope this is not too OT, but I just want to mention something that did not occur to me until much too late.
I am 62 years young, blessed with good skin genes and have moisturised my face since I was 17, using SPF's as soon as they became available, so I am fortunate to have great skin and hair, BUT I never thought about my hands, I spent lots of time outdoors, dog walking, gardening and walking holidays in the UK, consequently my facial skin looks early 50's and my hands 70+, can I advise handcreams with SPFs or budget price pots of face cream with sun protection for slapping on when you are about to spend time outside.
Best wishes. MM
Thank you MaddieMay
I always forget my hands even though I have loads of p+p hand cream with spf, etc. This is a timely reminder.0 -
Go you scrappie - well done !!
No ins, outs or UUs lately - think Im done for the month off the top of my head I cant come up with anything that is even remotely spluttering...
Welcome all you newbies - post stash lists whenever you are ready - theres really no pressure to do it monthly or even ever !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi. I was doing this challenge last year then got busy and stopped posting. Although I didn't post I didn't buy much either. I'm back to stay now and aim not to buy anything unnecessary at all. I have far too many products open so will use them up before opening duplicates. So far this month I have one bought in, dove soap..needed and 20 freebie ins, elemis sample sachets given to me when I bought elemis facials..can't feel guilty about these as they were free and I didn't even request them. I will enjoy using the samples and was not given the usual mini bath milks, which I have a couple of already and would not be as easily uu.0

Hi to all the newbies!
i have a UU
Liz Earle Skin Repair (Dry/Sensitive version) Skin Repair is my HG. if i could only pick one moisturiser for day/night/neck/eye cream this stuff would be it. i already have a normal in use and both a dry and light in the stash :rotfl:
the LE hand cream mini is also spluttering.
also, i *may* have bought the Latest in Beauty themed box and added on a Neom shower gel mini to the order. i was SO jealous of this mini when it appeared in various boxes the month before i subscribed to them all so i couldn't help it. in my defence (:rotfl::A) it does contain tea, some form of drink thing and a probiotic so its not all toiletry INs.0 -
feeling grotty after going to town yesterday and having to come home early as having symptons of racing heart/faint/feeling sick...only there for 1.5 hours so a complete waste of time.went to bed but got up at 5 and started being sick and could not even keep water down:(DH flew off to Prague at 4 am monday and not back till thursday night so all alone :(panicing about chocking but thankfully it seems to be going off a bit.of course DH says it is the seafood I ate on saturday which he told me not to have but no proof:rotfl:also my laptop is acting up and cannot open google mail so took me ages to find the forum via firefox.Called the boss and said was not working today(1st day sick in 7 years)Was a bit bad yesterday, went into occitanne as needed to sit down before I fell down!got the free hand cream and bought a box of lavender goodies which I have not even looked at yet was £57 down to £39 so got a free sat of stuff as spent over £30(again not even looked at!)
Laura Ashly did not have the curtains and bedding I wanted to see and did not even have the new brouchure...hopeless.
going back to bed now with a heat pad as neck aching(maybe I have manflu:rotfl:)0 -
Hope you feel better! Manflu can be fatal!0

Some UUs - Elemis Oxygenating night cream, WIBA have plenty of face cream so definitely not yet and I can't say I noticed it was much better than other cheaper things I've used. Decleor aromessence essential balm, it took ages to use up and made no discernible difference to anything, smells gorgeous though.0
