Made a discovery today. I finished a moisturiser yesterday so was just about to crack open a new one when I remembered a 15ml tube of Boots no 7 for men "post shave recovery balm" that I've had kicking around for ages (from one of those "spend £30 on no 7 and get this free bag full of stuff you probably won't use" offers).

I'd tried it on my legs once post shaving but it didn't really hit the spot so it was languishing unloved. Then today I thought, "aha! SPF 15! What is this but a men's moisturiser that Boots have butched up by calling it 'recovery balm' so that they don't feel girly using it?"

I can understand why Boots have employed this tactic. My husband has had the same tube of L'oreal men expert for 3 years and still hasn't finished it. He'll only use it when he has to.

Anyway, it's great! Really nice on my skin, as good as any moisturiser I've used. Really pleased to have snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with this.

He is in my bad books(again!) just spent 40 mins looking for his car keys(I used it while he was away this week),he had to use the spare to go to the office, then he called me to say he had both sets:mad::mad::mad:
  • One OUT from this morning's shower - Lush It's Raining Men shower gel. WBA as it smells gorgeous and is very nice and moisturising. Now onto an Original Source special edition from last winter - Black Pepper & Cardamom.

    Hello everyone -

I have more OUTS - 10 to be exact :j:j:j

Boots Botanics Nourishing Body Butter - Although at first I was happy that this only cost £4 and it was a huge tub, it ended up being a LHJ for me. To the point where I was forcing myself to use it just for this challenge. It was slightly too oily for me, and sometimes it flaked, which I hate about most lotions. I initially liked the "green" scent of the body butter but got really sick of it near the end as well. So....WIBA? No, I'm so sick of the smell, I doubt I will ever repurchase this.

Nivea Bar Soap - cirus scented -
I forgot the name of this bar soap, but it was citrus scented. I got 2 for £1 at poundland, so it was a great deal. WBA for sure! It smelled great, didn't leave my skin feeling dry, and great great price.

    Other OUTS (sold these):
    Chanel mimosa nail polish
    zoya dove nail polish
Dior - Diorkiss lipgloss in cotton candy
Essie - mint candy apple nail polish
Rimmel - tangerine queen nail polish
OPI - ds extravagance nail polish
wet n wild - party of five nail polish
    Funky Fingers golden coast

**These were all great products, but I felt like I had too many dupes and too many similar products. ****

Have some big pink stars for your birthday littlepinkstars

No more UU yet but I am now making a real effort to put on my hand cream a few times a day to try and shift my LHJ Cowshed. Like it but it is now over 2 years old (opened 10 months ago) so I don't want to waste it. Plus hands really seem to need it at the mo.

Oh and I am almost at my 50% UU - currently at 49.59% :T

    Happy Bday littlepinkstars

    and congrats fiasco :D

I've bought far too much in January and have enough of some things to last me for the rest of 2012 (at least) so I will definitely be joining you for February. :o I'm updating my spreadsheet now!

I have had to TA my Clinique Sunshine lip gloss. I went to put it on today and it is smelling very wiffy so in the bin it went. Not to upset and it was a bit old now and over half had been used. WNBA as I don't really like lip gloss now - except my Chanel one!

Gonna attack my brows tonight as they are looking a little messy and I am avoiding the salon this month.
