Hi Fiasco. I too am chucking out a Clinique lipgloss as I've tried my best to use it this week and it's gone so sticky. It is only a small size - must have got it as a GWP - called Peacy Glow. They used to have one called Melon Sky which I loved but then the colour was discontinued. I much prefer Smashbox lip glosses now so won't be replacing this with another Clinique one when I go for my consultation on 11 Feb.
Have also had another TA and a UU this week:-
TA: small sample of Benefit Posie Tint. Just doesn't show up on my skin and Emma didn't want it either. So it's gone.
UU: 20z bottle of Philosophy Peppermint Bark. WNBA. Much prefer their Double Hot cocoa shower gel.
As these were all small sizes I'm going to put 50p each into my pot.
Have repainted my nails and am wearing Sephora by OPI Just a Little Dangerous which is a gorgeous purple colour. I don't usually like purple lacquers but do like this one. However even though I don't own a similar one I'm not going to look for a dupe for this cos I'm happy just to own this one and know from past experience of buying purple ones that they are really hit and miss on me. I've owned by Lincoln Park After Dark and Boris & Natasha and gave them both away.
Am looking at qvcuk at the mo as well as it's Beauty Day. Am going to have to try not to watch as one of those new OPI Nicky Minaj colours looks very lovely.
No purchases again this week - even when we went to Sainsbury's last night. So v. proud of myself.
This has just motivated me to root out all of my other lip glosses to check out if they have went the same way .
That is also my freebie L'Occitane hand cream gone to. WNBA ( didn't in the first place but feels to greasy for my hands)
Have a good Saturday everyone and leave some stock for other QVC customers

move over all of you on the naughty step:rotfl:ignore what I wrote yesterday, today I responded to the Clarins email. In my defense i am almost out of toner(ok I could buy a cheap one from mr T)so have ordered 1 toner,1 melt cleansing gel,1 santal oil(new wonder product!!!!?) and got free post,a bonus gift of 4 items worth £39,3 samples to take on holiday and 69 clarins points which means will have enough points to get £15 voucher nexxt time I shop.I did look carefully through my stash today but had no toner or night cream(hence the santal oil to try as supposed to be good for dry skin)and the bonus and sample items will be good to take on holiday.0

congrats Fiasco:beer:
made a body shop order last night but talked myself out of buying another 5 body butters (I must have 5 in the stash and plenty of nivea soft..) so no INS for me:j I promise it will all be for presents as I was planning to buy BS for them anyway. It all came to a tiny £7.50:money: I was planning on buying a vitamin e moisturiser but it was out of stock by the time I paid:D
Also have auctions on ebay ending today already have bids on some things lets hope they leave the stash this time..Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Had to go to my eye doc today near Asda on the other side of town. I never make the effort to go to Asda since I live within 10 minutes walk to Tesco and M&S.
Needed to stop in while there for some food things that only Asda sells...and needed to walk down the toiletries aisle as I'm out of toothpaste from this morning. It's always a danger when I go to Asda as they have more options in the Original Source range than my local shops, and I so like the mint handsoap and lemon body wash. (Keep in mind I have 2 of the lemon body washes in stock, plus 4 others nice ones, plus at least 50 various travel sized body washes and plenty of handsoap.)
Very pleased that I resisted all the handsoap, body wash and everything else and bought only toothpaste. :A
Did end up with 3 tubes when I probably could have stopped at 1, but a small victory still.0 -
Keep up the good work everybody. BTW Kiplingmonkey, that is one hell of a list of INs. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was all in the goody bag!
They were all in the goody bag or GAs at the stands - honest. I will have to declare some INs though as I have weakened and bought an Emma Hardie set to try the moringa cleansing balm.. Won't do the Lz Earle next week - honest (slopes off to naughty step...)
JARUS : - I love elemis, pro collagen marine cream is yummy but... very pricey! I look out for special offers
The Elemis oxygentaing night cream is also great and one of my favourite night creams. As Adela31 says look out for the special offers.Am looking at qvcuk at the mo as well as it's Beauty Day. Am going to have to try not to watch as one of those new OPI Nicky Minaj colours looks very lovely.
No purchases again this week - even when we went to Sainsbury's last night. So v. proud of myself.
Be strong VALM -don't ruin the week by buying the Nicky Minaj...You wouldn't want to be joining me on the naughty step now would you?
On the plus side, I do have some UUs:
Decleor baume de nuit rose - love the smell of this and would buy again especially for the Winter months.
Elemis exotic cream moisturising mask - have another ready and waiting in my stash for this which leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft
Decleor aromessence iris - ahem, have another ready and waiting so no need to buy again just yet...0 -
Hi all - is it ok if I jump on board this challenge... I have cleared my toiletry shelf in the bathroom and just put one item on there from each product... e.g. one moisturiser, one shower gel etc instead of a range. All my spares are stashed out of sight - and I will only restock once used... and of course - NO NEW BUYS!!! End of January and am doing well...⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Hello all!
Almost the end of the monthI have been doing well in the challenge, toiletries don't excite me so much anymore (make-up is another thing
. I haven't bought any smellies for myself in the sales, yay! I did order from e.l.f. (still waiting) and bought eyeshadow palette from Sleek (Storm). This palette is amazing, the colours are really well pigmented and blendable, and it was only £6.50 for 12 eyeshadows. It was needed as I hit the pan in most of my neutrals, and all of my shadows have faint colours.
Here are my recent UUs:
Benefit b.right Foamingly Clean Facial Wash and Triple Performing Facial Emulsion samples: WNBA, they seemed very harsh and irritated my eyes. I'm still working on their eye cream, and it's just the same.
Sanctuary Cocooning Body Butter (50ml): WNBA - the consistency was silky and the scent was warm, but I prefer glycerin based products.
Almost UU Avene Anti-redness cream sample: WBA as it was moisturizing, absorbed well and didn't break me out.
I also threw away some old make-up items and mixed up the dregs of my blusher with a moisturizer to make a passable cream blush. I couldn't reach it with a brush anymore.0 -
got some uu to report- makes me feel better after yesterday :P
19.100% pure eyeshadow in the shade vannila- this shattered and as it was a basic brown shimmer colour i decided to chuck it.
20.sure deoderant-would buy again down to my last 2 from tesco double the difference
21.bath and bodyworks hand gel - i love this!! wba-cant get in the uk tho
22.random bath bomb from lush- got 5 more in my stash before i can move onto ones i can tell what they are.
23.sepora brush cleaner-wnba-overpriced baby shampoo works just as good
24. sample of sanctuary facial oil- quite liked this but i think it is expensive.£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
20,000 step a day challenge0 -
I have a few more UU's
Snowcake soap and candy cane soap, took these both to work, much better than the soap at work.
I don't think I have done that well this month 2 orders from lush and about 45 products in. Less out about 35 out many given away and 5 on ebay.
Looking forwards to next month, I'm seeing my sister so have put a box together of things she will use so far there are about 30 items in there, I won't count this till next month as I have not finished sorting.
I will have to actually sort out a system, I'm liking the idea of a spreadsheet. I have listed down some stuff on paper but my list changes with ins and outs very quickly, a spreadsheet would be better.0
