Stressy day at work, everyone's edgy about the 'mock' inspection tomorrow:( It's been hanging over all our heads since September and I wouldn't mind but it isn't even the 'real' thing. Can't wait until Friday but for now, I can't actually see past Thursday as the team are in for 2 whole days:(

In an effort to keep some normality I've had a good Zumba workout:) Think I'll go again tomorrw eve as that class includes abs at the end:eek: It's also swimming tomorrow, so that should help me blast some stress!

Tsco shop was delivered with a few up-branded substitutions. One benefit of buying the lower brands is that if they have to substitute, you get a higher branded product:T Dinner was gammon, oven chips, sweetcorn and fried egg, yum yum:)

Hope to update balances tomorrow once all the transfers are complete.

Subscribed to the Super Scrimper Resolution last night, something else to keep up momentum. Also DH was accepted for anothe 0% card from Nwest with approx £4,200 limit meaning the remaining balances on cards with interest can be transfered across. Very pleased about this as it means not only a closer DFD but loads more interest saved along the way.:money:

Sorry been AWOL from diaries last few days (again) - I have Superscrimpers recorded from this week but saw last weeks about the website etc

Well done on getting the 0% card and all that exercise - I admire you

Im wondering if your hubby is like mine - he really is not getting the whole Debt Busting / Saving thing at all and is leaving it all to me - Ive said we need to shop around etc and put money away blah blah and he does not share my enthusiasm (well not in the last week he hasnt anyway) my OH is not a horrible man he is lovely but hides more than me about this type of thing and does not deal with it at all well so I should not be mean

Hope today was better at work xxx

Thanks f1 but it was worse:rotfl:At least we're halfway through the 'practice' inspection now, who knows what tomorrow will bring...

Apart from work, today was very productive. Returned a car part to eBay as we didn't need it in the end. £104 minus £13 recorded delivery going back on the cc:T

New cc paperwork has arrived so will be signed, ready for posting in the morning:T

Managed zumba + abs session and a half mile swim:T, although prob won't be doing that again. Don't think I had enough food during the day and my muscles didn't seem to want to work...felt like swimming through custard at times. Not that I've ever done that:rotfl:

Dinner was sausages, mash, carrot and cabbage. I'm now chilling in front of the log burner with cramp:o (defo not enough muscle energy)

Bed soon and will try not to dream of the Insp**tors like last night:rotfl:

ps sorry this post's bitty, it's my third attempt after somehow managing to wipe one and delete a huge chunk of the other!

Work wasn't too bad. Mainy on account of being able to hide in my office for two lessons (my scheduled admin time, not actually hiding) while the inspe***rs finished their observations.

DD's had friends round after school so they got on with things while I messed up the first fire, cleared the burner out and made a success of the second:rotfl:DS came home from 6th form, traumatised after his psychology lesson where he learned about a German guy who advertised for a lover over the internet so that they cold eat him...well choice parts of him!!!!:rotfl:

Dinner was turkey mince bolognese prepared this morn, despite this I can't work out where all the time has gone today:o I've done a pile of ironing but still have to make lunches for tomorrow and get a shower:mad: DH is at work this eve so can't even get his assistance!

Off to get sorted, catch up soon.....

    Hi HP,
Hope you've finally managed to evade the inspectors and get everything done around the house! Turkey spag bol sounds great, I always use beef but I'm going to get some turkey tonight as I reckon I've been eating too much beef (chilli, lasagne, mince+dupplings, etc..)plus its cheaper:money:!

Hope you have a MSE weekend!!

    James.

James, don't get the turkey breast mince it's so dry and has no taste! I ordered normal turkey mince in my Tsco delivery but had it substituted, so thought I'd give it a go. The normal mince must be leg/thigh and has a lot more flavour and less dry :O)

Snow day here woo hoo:j fingers crossed it continues for tomorrow so the school's closed meaning no work for me.....or the kids;) DH is taking the DD's sledging when he gets back from kickboxing, leaving me all cosy indoors to finish my housework, do the ironing and cook a roast.:)

Managed NSD's until Fri when I had to buy DD & friend's food and decorations for their joint disco next weekend. I did manage to source the best value products and am splitting the cost with the other family, so not at all bad.:)

Still in a bit of a pickle with where I am with CC's as I'm waiting for the new Nwest cc with enough credit to transfer the rest of the debt onto 0% with a 1% B/T fee:money:At least I know where I am with current accounts and if we can move the new loan payment date to 28th, we should be another £309 up this month. They calc the payment date a month from when the funds were released but as we had no control over that date, the 23rd, proposed new date, will be right at the end of the month and although I can budget for it, I'd rather it was gone just after payday.

Gonna get ahead with meals today. Will cook the chicken in advance so I can prep a curry for tomorrow and make soup for Wed. I still have sausages, bacon and turkey mince in the freezer so have meals covered til next weekend which is DD1's Bday weekend so we'll be eating at the disco in the eve and having a family bring-and-share style HM curry meal on Sun:). Will need to top up with bread, milk, fruit and packed lunch stuff today tho, ready for the week but have beans and noodles etc in the cupboard for half term. Hoping not to spend too much more on groceries this month. The £5 off £40 Mr T voucher wil be used to do one more order to last the month.

Right that's all the theory taken care of, better get up and start putting this into action:rotfl:

Not the best start to the day ever, good job it ended better.....Needed to take the car to work today as DD2 had made a very delicate balsa wood model of Tower Bridge for a school project. I also had to take DD1 for a haircut straight from work so it was easier to have the car, or so I thought....... I defrosted it for half an hour so it was all toasty and warm, got DD1 to brush off the roof snow.....then skidded and slid all over the front garden to the point of giving up. By this time it was 8.30, the time I am meant to be at work...with no car....and no model to take as DD2 had grabbed it thinking it was going to topple over and broke a few bits off....ended up walking which took twice as long as usual, not helped by the fact that I was wearing the totally wrong shoes as I had planned to take the car...not happy:mad:

Work was better than the average Monday as it was a flexi-day with various activities going on in the different year groups.

I got home and had a second attempt at the car, wish I hadn't bothered, before I knew it, the time was 4.40 and the car was in exactly the same position!

Good job I made today's dinner yesterday, giving me time for a quick cuppa:) Curry, rice, naan & saag aloo, yum yum.

Have finalised all the spends for DD1's disco and spent the evening emailing the other host with progress so far.

    All in a day's work.....

Hi all, I've been away but fear not, I haven't fallen off the wagon, quite the opposite infact:j

Will post up progress just as soon as i get a decent chance to sit down. Had DD's very successful Bday disco and it's now half term so opportunities are scarce:rotfl:

    Catch up soon xx
