It equates to £35 for a whole year's line rental and going through quidco gets you £37 back, so £2 profit overall!
You get a Nokia 6822, 400 any network anytime minutes plus 100 free texts each month... the ultimate £35 cost is saved with all those savings you make on free mobile calls!
Only issue is you must £35/month, refundable by cashback. Usually, these deals are a bit dodgy when offered by small mobile phone shops that disappear after a few months not paying back a penny, but that's unlikely with the CPW...

there is a virgin deal which works out "completely free" but only 50 free mins. also t-mobile, but only 200 mins free...0 -

I must admit I did think of the going bust scenario but hopefully it will be ok.0

I ordered one, god knows why as I dont need it. Ive got the virgin £10 a month deal plus my vodafone one which I will be cancelling in a few months time.
I work away from home a lot but this last year, Ive been home based, typical!
anyways, the phone arrived, aint the greatest, looks a bit like a toy fone but its free and its unlocked. I tried the virgin and orange payg. Wow.
Is this normal procedure sending out unlocked phones? I was very (and pleasantly) surprised.
Mind you when I got the D600 last year with Vodafone, they sent that unlocked also - and with no cr*p vodafone branding.:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -

Can someone explain the 100KB inclusive i mode?0 -

Very true matey..
What date should the 1st Cashback be claimed then? Will that be the fourth bill?0 -
I particularly liked this deal as it is only 3 claims, you only have to send in a copy of your bill and you have up to 60 days from the bill to claim.
They have a Chequeback promise: http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?ARTICLE=MAIN.UK.INTERNET.HELPINFO.ORDERONLINE.GUARANTEES.CHEQUEBACK
They have a leaflet on their website outlining chequeback (http://media.phonehouse.com/mediaserver/servlet/AssetServer?id=GLOBAL132891&ver=5&RD=YES) and this refers to sending vouchers from the linked leaflet, but the offer didn't mention this?
The only thing to arrive in my pack was the boxed phone, a sim card and an invoice - did others get more than this (e.g. envelope to send old phone for trade-in, welcome pack ...)?
Many thanks
Anon
PS - If you missed out on this deal, I have posted a new thread with some alternative deals (not inserted here in case they closed the thread after the offer ended) - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=3717660 -
Hi all,
I also received my phone today…so a big thanks to bubbles for posting the deal.Anon wrote:The only thing to arrive in my pack was the boxed phone, a sim card and an invoice - did others get more than this (e.g. envelope to send old phone for trade-in, welcome pack ...)?
I received:
The Phone in the box.
A loose sim card in the city link package
An invoice from the CPW
A CPW booklet titled 5 steps.
The 5 steps booklet has tabs along the bottom one of which in titled “Cashback & Chequeback”….reading from the Chequeback page it says:
“Printed on your invoice are the specific bills that you need to send in”…but there is no such information on my invoice!
However on the Cashback page of the booklet it says:
“The Carphone Cashback is a new offer that is replacing Chequebacks for new connections & upgrades on O2”
“If you have taken out a Cashback offer, there is no need to claim to get your money. We will transfer the money automatically into your bank account, providing you do not lower your price plan (to below the plan that you originally purchased) and you pay all your bills in full and on time”
As there are no details of the bills to send in on my invoice I would like to think that I am going to receive the cashback payment straight into my bank account!
I think that I will give it a day or two to see if any welcome pack arrives from the CPW if not I’ll give them a ring to find out the exact terms of this deal!
Also I have no paperwork for the 1 months free insurance ….so I don’t have a contact number to cancel it….I think (hope) there's more paperwork to follow!0
