Glad you're feeling that this may be manageable. well done for checking it all out and working out where you stand.
I agree re OH doing some other work.and I wouldn't rule out surveys, clicks, EBay etc. I appreciate you're in Gods Own County (;-)) but could you take in a lodger? We are having 2 students this year..just for 3 weeks but it will make a difference to the revenue over the summer.

Sorry to hear about your OH's job. Sounds like things are going to be tough but glad you are feeling positive. I hope you can find ways to cut back and save money without affecting your lives too much.

Yep I got the extra day at work. He said it is temporary and we will review it in 3 months time! I am blooming hoping I wont need it in 3 months! This is great news. I have asked to have it paid as overtime so from my point of view I can just stop it when I want and they don't have to mess around with my holiday allowance etc.
Hubby is very poorly today! Being MSE bless him as he isn't eating at all. I hate seeing him like this.
OH has been accepted for a 0% card for 22 months for 2k which will help. Then the rest can go on his n@twest card at 0% but that is only for 6 months. So just trying to get ready for the first bad wage cheque!Orange Fairy

He has just started eating today. Will see how he eats later and then meal plan.
Had my short day at work today - 9 till 3.
Found another £2 coin today! £34 in the pot - saving for xmas!
Reduced fish pie for dinner for me!!
