Hey!
Just adapt that positive attitude you had prior to your wedding and you'll be fine. Maybe use the summer hols as motivation for those days out and trips to the beach :-) xx0 -
Hi,
Nice to see you back with a new diary.
I am hoping to do some meal planning too as need to cut back on buying food and think this will stop us wasting food. The chicken and chorizo thin sounds yum.
Good luck with the weight loss. I'd like to lose half a stone but hoping when i go back to work and doing all the nursery runs etc it will come off... we will see!0 -
Evening all.......or I suppose VERY early morning!!!
Havent had chance to get on here today.
Worked my first 8 hour day today! It was okay as pretty busy. I went for a half hour walk at lunch too and then walked home which takes 20 mins!
My Aunt told me last night that my uncle (my boss) said if OHs hours are dropped at work then he is happy for me to pick up another day if it helps! This is great news. I earn less an hour than OH but it will help. If he can drop the day that I can pick up then it means I can work an 8 hour day and we would only be dropping £150 a month which is a lot more do-able. Obviously if he drops 2 days or they close work all together then that's a different story. Either way it is a positive thing
MSE things for today........found a couple of presents that will save me money on birthdays. All food today eaten from our cupboards today. Nothing bought. LSD as only needed to buy milk. I class as a NSD as I don't count grocery spends. MIL fed the kids dinner so that is MSE. No one at home so no heating on today
Eating- weetabix and 250ml OJ for breakfast. Chicken soup and banana for lunch and then healthy living lasagne for dinner. So a good day all in all. My colleague bought me a pack of skittles today. He threw them to me and I threw them back! Said thank you but I can't eat them!!
Hoping to gt on with debt busting soon. I realised today that my loan only has 2 years left! That is nothing really. I am hoping to get the credit card paid of by the end of the year if poss and then start overpaying the loan. There will be a year left so should do it within 6 months or less. Obviously all dependant on OHs job really. I looked at what money we would have one loan and card payments were gone and that was motivating! All of our bills inc food, car budgets, £100 a month for presents, haircuts, everything we NEED would come to £20 less than OH's wages!! So my wage of £717 would be totally free!!! That would be awesome. We could start saving for a house deposit, holidays and start a nice savings fund for the kids. Oh the freedom!
Right off to bed as I have to get the kids to ballet for 9.30am.Orange Fairy

Hello Diaryland
Thanks J4mes- i'm enjoying my photo everyday! Getting some unwanted comments! I took a picture of my lonely lasagne ready meal the other day. My uncle posted on my facebook that he knew i would run out of things to take photos of!!! In fact i had a few photos i could have used but that one represented my boring and slightly loney day! lol
Right - had a good couple of days. The weekend went too quickly. The girls have dancing on saturdays. I leave DD1 (aged 8) at 10.45am and then pick her up at 3.30pm.
Seems a long time not to see her on a saturday! She doesn't dance that whole time but my Aunt has her inbetween as i don't drive and would have to keep walking back and forth from our house 20 mins away. My Aunts daughter is in the same class so she is gonig there anyway. I feel like a guilty Mum though. If it wasn't for DD2 i would have walked down mid afternoon to say hello to her! However when she got home i said i would spend some time doing anything she wanted. So we sat down to make dresses and fashion sets with stencils and patterned papers! It was fun.
I have been given an award this week - For being the worst toothfairy EVER! I forgot 2 nights in a row and the look of DD2's face was heartbreaking
So last night i printed a little letter from the toothfairy and put it under her pillow with her money. It said the toothfairy was sorry but they were very busy and that she was offering an extra sparkly 50p as a sorry present! She seemed happy with that this morning!
Got to sort out DD1's present for her 9th birthday. It will either be an ipod touch if she puts £50 birthday money towards it or a new camera. The ipod touch will give her games, music and a way to message and contact her half brother. BUT i feel she may be a year too young. So next xmas she will be nearer 10. However DD2 wants a camera too and so may be nice to do both the cameras at Xmas. It will be a slightly cheaper xmas then. You can pick up decent digital cameras for about £50. So that will be what they get along with a case and memory card.
Still undecided!!!!
Today is my day off. Going for an walk for a minimum of an hour in a min as my exercise - will make sure i include some hills! Then i want to either photograph ebay items and weigh them or make a candle with my craft set! Not sure which yet! Plus some housework and organise things for school tomorrow.
Food today
b- porridge and a cup of tea (no sugar)
l- fruit and 2 jam crackers (i think)
d- homemade soup with homemade rolls - just a sprinkling of cheese
That is my day!Orange Fairy

T'was lovely!!!
Been for my walk! I can moan at times but i feel so lucky to have a healthy family and to be bringing up my kids where i do. I absolutely love living here. 10 mins walk from my house you get a view of the countryside and also the sea and it is sooo quiet! I love it!
Off to carry on taking pics for ebay! xOrange Fairy

Glad you had a good weekend. Must be hard not seeing much of your daughter but bet she really enjoys the dancing.
Naughty toothfairy , think she made up for it though
.
Well done on your walking, is a great free exercise and sounds like you get some great views.0 -
so made up for the tooth fairy incident tonight by being the 'best mum' ever! Achieved by letting them have a treat of ice cream with strawberry syrup and smarties on top!
Had a good day. Worked 9-3. Booked next Friday off to spend with OH for his birthday
Also MSE wise I have been checking constantly for my Organised mum calendars to go down in the sale. Finally they have! I have waited 2 weeks into the year but saved myself £6
Last night I photographed 32 items for eBay but will wait until people have had another payday before I list them. I should have listed all these items before Xmas. I also have 2 bikes to sell!
Weight wise I am going to find out tomorrow. I don't feel like I have lost any but I do feel I have more energy so not sure. Badminton with my best mate tomorrow and then looking after my 9 month old nephew
Will be a spend day as I need to order my Nans present and also have lunch with my friend. Only wether spoons so not too pricey!
Right off to drink my tea and tidy the kitchen.Orange Fairy
