Expensive V Cheap Shampoo/Cond

I use Tigi products daily and usually buy the huge 2 litre sized bottles which last an absolute age. I normally run out of the conditioner before shampoo and when this happened last year I decided to use my stash of the banana conditioner from The Body Shop. I usually only use this when we go away, however I have so much of it I thought I'd start using it at home. I found after a few weeks it started to leave my hair lifeless so have gone back to Tigi again for my daily routine.
However as a really fantastic weekly treatment IMO I use items from the Organic Root Range, namely the Olive Oil Shampoo & Conditioner, the Hair Mayonnaise and Sheen Spray. This range is predominantly for Afro hair (which I don't have) it can be used on over processed hair which has been left feeling dry and brittle. My hair was needing a pick me up as I have it highlighted regularly and blow dry/style it most days and when I saw these products I thought I'd give them a go. My hair is now in such good condition that I often get comments from people with regards to it's shine, it also feels lovely and soft as opposed to that coarse/straw feel. The range isn't expensive and a little goes a long way!0
