My poor dog

Thankyou so much for all your kind words and thoughts.
My worst fears became reality as she deteriorated further over night. She still hadn't eaten since Monday and looked so sad. We took her to the vet this afternoon who said she had completely given in, and was definately in pain with her back legs. The kindest thing was to put her out of her pain. As someone mentioned, I do feel that the time was right, and if I had left her any longer it would have been for our own benefit.
My eyes are still red and puffy with crying, but I have to say that my children have taken it much better than I thought they would.
I loved her loads and I'll miss her so much, but know I've made the right decision.
Thanks for listening. xNow thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker

You did the right thing, please take comfort in this. You will never forget her and you will miss her dearly, but at least you know she's not suffering anymore.
