VALUE FOR MONEYMine was an auto. It seems strange that they would spec a manual, a lot of Americans only have a licence to drive automatics
Really? I didn't know that licences in the US differentiated (at least Illinois and Ohio don't)...I know here you can get an auto only licences...
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Mustang convertable question.
Still havent sorted a car for March yet, I only want a convertable if it is a Mustang (I know its not gteed) so I may just go for my old favourite the Charger.
Just looking at the spec for a Mustang and it seems that manual transmission is standard with Auto being optional.
I dont want a manual car in Vegas as I drive 35000 plus miles a year here in a manual and enjoy the laziness of an Auto in Vegas
All those who have had a Mustang, have they been Auto or Manual, thanks
We had one last year and it was an Auto. Rented through Thrifty.0 -
Yup - auto here too
(that was through Dollar)

Poll - not sure best hotel is the right poll, as theres the variables of cost and room type to overlay.
How about something like best budget hotel ie excluding the ones like Venetian and Wynn which would score high on best hotel, but are out of many peoples price range. Could define budget as maybe a specified room type often available for upto say $50 a night midweek.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

VALUE FOR MONEYThanks for all the rplies re Mustang Auto.
I did assume it would be Auto, as I didnt think americans did "stick" shifts.
I was surprised to see that the standard option was Manual0 -

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYnot sure how long they have been available but CET win-loss statements are up for 2011 if you log into Total Rewards, win -loss statement is one of the options you can choose.
This time of the year I am always glad that we do not gamble for free rooms...'cause if we did, we would be better of just paying for the room and not gambling...but since we enjoy our slot time, and consider it buying entertainment, and we get free rooms as a by-product, it's OK.
Edited to add that mlife has them available too, under my account, tax statements.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Thanks for that ferf - this year I was:
down @ Bally's & Paris
up @ Planet Ho & Caesars
... came out with a $10 loss overall!! I'm shocked and somewhat pleased - that's a lot of 'free' drinks gained with minimal output, though I can't get on the mlife one (keeps erroring) so lets assume its them that take all my money
I wish they'd show throughput on the statements though - would love to know how much i feed through the machines
edit - just looked back through our old ones to see how it compared - we certainly seem to be playing at CET casino's more, but this was definitely our best year... I got absolutely crippled by Planet Ho in 2008 it seems!0 -
actually, i'm glad they don't tell you how much you put through
i've checked my TI statement (where we don't spend much time to be honest) -https://www.tiplayersclub.com
lost around a 3rd of our 'coin in' there! - i like how they break it down though with table use / jackpots etc
Slot Coin In: $x.00Total Win / (Loss): ($x.00)
Slot Coin Out: $x.00
Jackpots: $x.00
*Slot Win / (Loss): ($x.00)
**Table Win / (Loss): $x.00
