Ferf Can I ask your opinion of Cosmo in terms of value for money, for our last 3 nights we are torn between our old fav the palazzo, Cosmo or possibly trump. Trump is cheapest by far and haven't found any deals on the Cosmo so ts the priciest by far, I don't mind paying for things if its worth the extra, what are your thoughts, also any clues on where to get best rate?

Trump is actually quite nice, particularly if you like the North Strip area. Only issue we had is that it is very hot at the pool, but that will depend what time of year you are going.

"Canter's Deli at TI (still the best reuben I've ever had, love the pastrami option)"

This was our go to late night snack but on our last trip in october we they had definitely changed something.we thought they had started frying the outside bread rather than toasting it.On the plus side tried the earl of sandwich for the first time and discovered the caribbean jerk chicken sandwich.

Anyone who's taking there ipad with them would recommend you download the yelp app, being able to zoom in and search areas is fantastic for discovering new places also got some wonderful photos

Canters corn beef sandwiches are excellent. Note that its not corn beef like you get here in tins, its salt beef.

And the matzo ball soup is comfort food at its best.

From memory, they do the soup and half a salt beef sandwich for a tenner.

Thanks for the TR ferf. Glad you liked the Cosmo. We are struggling to find a high end hotel we haven't been to for our splurge next trip. However I have booked 5 nights in a one-bedroom suite at MGM which used to be called the Hollywood Suite so that might do us.

Weera Thai sounds interesting. Might be a good option when we meet up with pebbles and Tony.

Instead of Cosmo you could stay at the

#4 rated La Quinta Inn & Suites or
#6 rated Staybridge Suites Las Vegas

    Or stay at Cosmo.
