I wouldn't bother ringing them to whinge it's a systemwide problem.
Mind you my favourite call today was thebloke who was shouting at me cos his new tablet wasn't connecting to Yahoo chat yet his other two machines were-and didn't bother mentioning this tablet was connected with a dongle to tmobile and not his Sky wireless-and he'd alread rung tmobile but didn't want to give them a cc to unblock it so rang us instead. People never cease to amaze me !!

I've got 4 nights at the cosmopolitan via their website for £502, or £487 on expedia - 12% quidco which would bring it down to £428. I'm thinking its worth booking with expedia and losing the no-fee cancellation option as there's unlikely to be anything better?

Check the T&C's on Expedia as they often mirror the hotel's own T&C's so you may be able to cancel up to 72 hours before arrival.

I booked a Vegas hotel on Expedia after making sure of the cancellation policy and when I did cancel it, it was quickly refunded.

Just booked 10 nights in the Aria with flights from Manchester in May for £820 each on Expedia. I thought that was a very good deal and am very happy about it.

I booked RO with Quickrooms and found out a few days later that for a few quid extra I could have had B&B with BA. No biggie.

It was when we checked in that the girl said that she saw we had breakfast included. That was a surprise to me, but I found out later that all international guests were getting 2 free breakfasts per day. Domestic (American resident) guests didn't get it.

Good luck finding an email address as they are few and far between on Vegas hotel sites. I would try calling them.

** Edit - where did you find the information on the website?

    Hi Luci,

I searched google and it came up with this - http://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/breakfast-on-us.aspx?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=cosmopolitan+las+vegas&utm_campaign=search_uk-brand-sitelinks&OVMTC=Exact&site=&creative=8949629392&OVKEY=cosmopolitan%2520las%2520vegas&url_id=116533321&adpos=1t1&ic_pl_id=116533321&ic_lp_id=13210471&cdid=5146

i also emailed the address on their contact us page and got a prompt response saying that it did actually stop on 31st dec and at present it hasnt been carried on into this year, real shame!!!

Also AMRAD the terms on my expedia booking has teh same cancellation as the hotel, the only diff is you have to pay balance upfront but it was well worth the saving imo.

Well after contacting the new guy at the Platinum about Travel Zoo having an offer of $99 a night when he offered me $119 he got back and said that he did not know that the revenue dept. were going to run that offer, so he apologized and reduced my rate to $80 a night and upgrade to a Princess suite. I like him already, the queen is dead, long live the king.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Been hanging around for a while getting ideas for our next trip to vegas :) Just thought I'd actually come on and comment for a change.
Have been a couple of times before but have been looking to see what we've missed out on the previous trips and where to try for dinner.
Flying out in July for 8 nights. Booked them a while ago when Virgin had their virgin miles sale. My husband is going too and we both had Miles to spend, so with just £200 to pay for fees we couldn't resist.
Staying in Vdara, not been there before so any feedback would be good and if the $20 tip works in there for upgrades. Managed to get the room for £700 which we thought was a good deal compared to some of the other hotel prices we got quoted for?
    Cannot wait to go back
