Have just tried again and it worked this time, and received confirmation email immediately. The discount also applies on main floor tickets aswell. I got ROW D seats 6 and 7 for $124 dollars.

    Hi everyone,

I've been looking for quotes for my DH's 30th birthday next year and have found a price with Virgin.. can some of you tell me what you think as I've never been to Vegas before (or USA for that matter!) so not really sure if it's a good deal or not. I can't find any other companies that do package deals aside from Virgin.

It's 21-28 March '13, Bellagio Lake View Deluxe room, Virgin flights direct from Manchester. £2983.. is this any good or is it alot?

    Thanks,

    sweet x

I am going this march on indirect flights for £370 each, ok that may be an extreme case but flight prices should be available for around £600 each (you would hope) although wont be available until April this year.

So allowing £1200 for flights or even £1400, it means you woould be paying £1500 plus for 7 nights at bellagio. Fountain view rooms are expensive but not that expensive.

Have you read the forst few posts for help on looking for deals, although you are really looking to far ahead

    EDIT

It seems lakeview rooms are very expensive (way to expensive for me, I would book a cheaper room and hope for an upgrade if it was me), Just checked on Lowcostusa and 7 nights this march in a lakeview room would be £1381, which would still leave £800 each for flights which should be doable

Deal for Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam tour on groupon

All day tour for $59 instead of $155, looks a good deal if you dont want to drive yourself

If purchased through ticketmaster some events have the option to resell on ticketmaster directly -worth checking if you haven't. Or maybe something like stubhub.

Though may have trouble selling a single ticket unless it's quite a good seat and the event is sold out....and the buyer may be wary of not being able to get their hands on the ticket until so close to the event.

Pretty sure scalping is illegal in Vegas, but no idea how closely they watch these things.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I'd go for Stubhub personally or maybe try and get a refund for that ticket.

We've now decided to splash out a little and stay at the cosmopolitan. Any good deals around? 4 nights for the price of 3 on their website isn't looking too bad.

Thanks for your reply. With nothing to compare it to I wasn't sure if it was a good price or not :o I think I need to have another look at some cheaper hotels and less 'posh' rooms. :o
