VALUE FOR MONEYI've got 11,000 points (haven't played yet today), 301,000 chips and I've been playing for about three weeks. Unfortunately I don't get on every day.
It's most economical to play between 200-400 chips per spin. At first I was just betting the most I could and burning through my chips in minutes. Thanks to advice from people on Baza's MyVegas Friends group (on Facebook) I now can't get rid of my chips, I haven't been below 200,000 in ages. Now I've got a strategy, the points are building up nicely - I earned about 6,000 from last Thursday to Sunday
I play Bet The Farm, 340 a spin. Once you get to a certain level, you get auto-spins (I'm up to 50 at a time now) so you can set it off and do other things - just check in every 5 mins or so cos it'll stop if you hit a bonus.
I'm not going til next Summer so I've got a good chance of having some worthwhile rewards in place by then
Thanks for comprehensive reply, how many chips do you get daily from friends etc
maybe i have been doing it all wrong as I have been betting max all the time0 -
Hello!
I've been reading this thread for quite a while, and am hoping you regulars can help me out!
The gf wants to get married, I'm not bothered but I know she doesn't care how....I kinda want to to make her happy, and think getting married in Vegas would be awesome (and amazingly cheesy!).
So, is Vegas doable, for 2, for £2k? I'm thinking flights and hotel for 4ish nights?
Is it as seen in films etc as easy as turning up to a wedding place and getting married, or is there more to it than that?
Thanks for your help!
P.s. I don't plan on doing any laundry0 -

Cant help with the wedding but 4 nights is easily doable on 2k, 4 nights isnt really long enough IMO though
Assuming you can get flights for £600 ish, could be less, that leaves £800 for hotel, £100 a night gets a very good hotel0 -

Personally I think you should consider going for longer, unless you're planning on stopping somewhere else. I think it's easily do-able for a bit longer on your budget. It also depends on the flights because depending on the airport and dates the prices will vary. Try looking on kayak for flights as a starting point, you can set up a daily alert to your email. Then start looking at hotels and see what you fancy. You'll have more choice given that you don't need to do laundry. You will be able to stay on the strip as well :rotfl:
Why not let us know what time of year, airport, and what you need from your hotel. That will help us all make some suggestions.0 -

Also just saw there's Terry Fator tickets on groupon for $36 if that's of any interest to anyone. Not for me, will be next September before we're back I expect!!!0 -
BUFFETSThanks for comprehensive reply, how many chips do you get daily from friends etc

To be honest, I'm not absolutely certain sorry. I've got 156 MyVegas friends so far - I'd estimate that I get about 100 gifts of 50 chips daily (you can gift every 12 hours) so that'll be 5000 a day. You can also pick up bonuses from your timeline whenever one of your firends levels up or has a big win. You get a daily bonus of up to 30,000 chips depending on how many friends you have - think if you've got 100 you'll get the max (think you only get this if you open the game on that day)
I've marked anyone I don't know as 'restricted' so they can't see my personal stuff and put them all into a 'MyVegas' friend list. Everytime I add/accept a friend I also hover over where it says 'friends' and uncheck all their updates apart from game ones - otherwise I'd never see what my real-life friends are up to! I've also marked my MyVegas friends as acquaintances so I could set my game updates to only be seen by them - I think this has worked!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"
