    From Encyclopaedia Britannica.

"A porte cochere, as the French name indicates, was originally an entrance or gateway to a building large enough to permit a coach to be driven through it into the interior courtyard beyond. These gateways are common features of homes and palaces built during the reigns of Kings Louis XIV and XV of France."

Thanks....well.....theres loads of those in Vegas !!!

I think I win the prize here for shortest interval in between Vegas and work. When I went in April, I touched down in Heathrow at about 8am and I was in my office by 9am. Same as you, I have to minimise my holiday use!

I may be close to that too I'm afraid. We arrived home one year and I got to the house, quick change and into work. Only for half a day though. Was a half day short. Later someone said why didn't I take it unpaid - I hadn't realised it was an option!!!

Not sure if that was a question or now.

The laundry thing isn't a joke. Wash your mouth out...:rotfl:
  • Well - I am now beyond excited.!

Online check-in all done, seats sorted etc. This time tomorrow I will be on my way to Vegas for our first ever trip :D

Can't wait to see the Cosmo and hope we don't have any customer service disasters ;)

If we get the free wi-fi in the room I will try to post a wee update daily of what we've been up to (if it won't bore people to death)

How many hours have you played?

I had been playing for more than 3 weeks with a 30000 free chips a day each time I lost them in about 10 minutes.I have 4000 points.

It seems to me to get as many points as you have would take many hours a day with a lot more than 30000 free chips a day.

How many free chips do you get a day?

Have you been warned by facebook yet for sending to many strangers friends requests?

I've got 11,000 points (haven't played yet today), 301,000 chips and I've been playing for about three weeks. Unfortunately I don't get on every day.

It's most economical to play between 200-400 chips per spin. At first I was just betting the most I could and burning through my chips in minutes. Thanks to advice from people on Baza's MyVegas Friends group (on Facebook) I now can't get rid of my chips, I haven't been below 200,000 in ages. Now I've got a strategy, the points are building up nicely - I earned about 6,000 from last Thursday to Sunday :)

I play Bet The Farm, 340 a spin. Once you get to a certain level, you get auto-spins (I'm up to 50 at a time now) so you can set it off and do other things - just check in every 5 mins or so cos it'll stop if you hit a bonus.

I'm not going til next Summer so I've got a good chance of having some worthwhile rewards in place by then

    HOTELS
    Hi all,

So 5th trip to Vegas booked and it's actually for our honeymoon! Staying at the Aria as its the best deal we could find. Going 8th -14th October. Don't know anything about this hotel so does anyone have any tips? - I have emailed them to see if we can get an upgrade as this has worked quite well in the past but haven't heard anything?
