VALUE FOR MONEYPlease forgive me as a newbie not quite up to the ettiquette of what is the right thing to say here and not wishing to offend anyone, but do you not think the whole "laundry"joke has just gone on a tad too much.
We are exchanging relevant information about something that is a part of some people's trip. I wasn't aware it was a joke.0 -
the laundrette near the GC is probably Wizard of Suds, my usual laundry hang-out. They have video poker in the shop there even.
Wizard Of Suds........I like it :rotfl:BTW in all of our 5 trips to Vegas, me and mr Dontone have never used the same laundrette twice. Normally we head out to the one we think we used last time, only to end up somewhere completely different.
The last one was just a pokey little place, but we have been in one that was massive and we watched 2 hours of Mexican/US soap operas, one that had a lot of real estate mags, and we ended up picking out a house we were going to buy if we won Megabucks :rotfl:and one where we just got out washing out of the machine and this woman almost barged us out of the way to use it because her and her daughter had had all the the washers going and needed the last one too, which was ours. They must have had 2 months worth of washing in those machines  First trip we went to one around the corner from Sahara, across from the Scientology headquarters. The machines in there were that big, people had parked shopping trollies outside and were washing all their double/king sized duvets. They were playing poker while they waited. It's hilarious sometimes :rotfl:BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -

I JUST KNEW IT!
Looking forward to meeting up with you guys next month if we can work something out.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYWell I don't know if it is breaking news, but here goes.
The Quad is revealed as the new name for Imperial Palace.
What do you all think if the new name?0 -

Sorting this all out at work today.......and the general vote is that is sounds like the 'playground/meeting' area at a high school/college.0 -
CASINOSHardly play slots at all, I play table games
I can play for a while for real but a virtual slot well !!!, I tried the myvegas playing 30,000 free credits a day, rewards up to 4000, I think thats it for me as i said
I had never been on facebook until I tried the game, what rewards have you got and for how many hours play? be honest
Been playing around 3 weeks and have 4 $50 breakfasts for 2 in Delights at the Sig between me and the missus.
As my daughter and her partner are coming that means 2 free breakfasts each.
Its more about the number of friends playing the game as you get more daily chips and bonuses from other players.
To build loyalty points you are better off playing very small stakes, this is easier when you have unlocked the 100 auto spins.
As i said some members have made 4000 loyalty points in a day so at that rate they will earn over $50 in comps every week they play.
If its not you thing thats fine.
It IS very MSE though and everyone likes something for free.0 -

Wouldn't be my first choice, but I can see where they are going with the name...assuming they are going for a university or fondly remembering university crowd at least.
It will always be IP to me I think.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYDee, I'm not too impressed either, but at least it not just initials like LVH or the D.0

Is everyone playing the "MyVegas" app on facebook? You can get free rewards for Mlife just for playing their online slots.
If you join http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/friendsofmyvegas/
You can get more friends and earn free rewards even faster.
Just joined it today but think I've left it a bit late for going off on the 5th October, lol. Don't have any friends that play it.If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A0 -
Pebblesmax. To be honest I'm not sure who actually gives these hotels the ideas for the names in the beginning. They certainly can't undertake much consumer research. We spend more time with issues after the name has been decided than they take in the whole process I think!!
But then again they (hotels) are a law unto themselves out here.....Mr W especially.
