A little tip at CP. Phone down and ask housekeeping if you can have the turn down service every night, there is no charge. When you come back in there will be a robe on your newly made up bed with slippers at the foot. The TV will be on a soothing channel, and there will be some gold chocolate coins by the bed. towels will be refreshed to. Just leave a tip on the bed when you go out.

Sounds good to me. will have to remember that but will also feel a bit cheeky:)

Back to work after getting home yesterday ,I couldnt do that, I always have 2 more days at home first before returning to work as I am like a zombie during those days and as I drive a couple of hundred miles most days it prob makes sense

I know, but tough, but at least I'm not driving. Really felt it at 420pm, hubby said he was falling asleep at 4, so obviously I've got more stamina haha. Got to minimise my holiday use though so that I can get away as much as possible!

Well  just booked my most expensive hotel room ever for my April trip next year.

Plans at Mo are 4 free nights at Orleans (no laundry tho)

2 nights fri and sat at Golden Nugget (have never stayed downtown)

last 4 nights booked in the Augustus tower at CP (never stayed there either) for $171 plus tax a night :eek:, hoping for an upgrade to the Octavius but wont be disappointed if we dont

I'm sure there was another post recently about a launderette near the Gold Coast. You could take the shuttle over there and then walk the rest of the way to the laundry. You could even get a service wash if you like while go have the lunch buffet at Gold Coast (or Rio if you're feeling flush). :rotfl:

the laundrette near the GC is probably Wizard of Suds, my usual laundry hang-out. They have video poker in the shop there even.

They do "free soap" too*...so tack that onto the shuttle/service wash/buffet plan for maximum value. ;)

    * I have never actually taken them up on the offer of the free soap being the delicate flower that I am I cannot be doing with foreign washing powder, you know.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We did the free soap once. It was OK, but she wanted to put more in than I thought we needed. We usually bring the little Fairy tablets for our wash. Tony is a delicate little flower too, ferf.

If that is the one around the corner from The Orleans on Arville I thought the free soap was only on certain days:D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Stoneman, it used to be Monday to Friday only, but it's every day now.

Please forgive me as a newbie not quite up to the ettiquette of what is the right thing to say here and not wishing to offend anyone, but do you not think the whole "laundry"joke has just gone on a tad too much.
