Thanks for all the info. Mon ami Gabi is defenitely on our list. Can I ask why you say don't read Trip Advisor reviews? I know you have to "read between the lines" with some reviews.

I've put genuine reviews on there myself, and no doubt many others have too.

    To many negative reviews.

There isnt a hotel on the strip that the regualr posters on here havent stayed at, you will get honest answers on here

Same reason that Thomson Destiny usually appears higher than Celebrity Solstice class boats, or NCL Jewel class boats.

I am so cross with myself.....dithered too much over a hotel, finally decided, went to book and the virgin flights have gone up £250 each overnight!!!! There was me waiting and hanging on as i thought they would come down, and now they have done the opposite....... i was hoping to go 13th august, now i am not so sure, as I would have to go to a "really cheap" hotel..... does anybody have any experience of virgin prices??? do they change weekly, daily??? they had been the same all week, now this hike!

The commission will pay for carhire-which you'll need for Tracey's shopping anyway ;) Or maybe just a few cabs ?

Seriously though isn't it just as easy to use cabs in the evening in Vegas ?

Well one of the major gripes about the Platinum is that it takes ages to get a cab, they don't seem to go that far and I have seen horrendous waiting lines while we just got in our car and went. Also I seem to see nothing but long lines for cabs from where we end up of an evening.
We have already sorted car hire, only having 5 days and picking up/ returning to TI so we can get straight in a cab and get to the hotel, sounds like bliss.
Never gotten a cab in Vegas in 15 years.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
