Thanks , I'll have a good look. My thinking is while the guys are off shooting the girls can have some quality time sunbathing or SHOPPING with no moaning

SHOWSI'd seen slots tournaments but never got an invite (and the Orleans plans theirs for whenever I'm not there too) . I took a friend to the Palms as she was on a mission to see if she could sign up at every casino in Vegas (came home with a suitcase of tat t-shirts, shot glasses etc). When she signed up they gave her free entry to their slots tourny the next day. As a well trained friend she asked if I could play in it too and they said yes. I really hadn't a clue what I was doing but watched a couple of rounds and went for it. After we played we went to Rio and Gold Coast before checking back. I'd come 6th and won $300I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Yup. Was Ok not spectacular. They looked rather bored, doing the same show every night for ten years or so......
Buy cheap seats.....it wont be full and they will pull everyone forward.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYsorry for being dumb with these slots tournaments, do you have to be signed up to one of the players clubs to play them, or can you just walk in off the street and enter?
and when you play, i presume you keep anything you win while playing, but stake your own money and there is also a 'buy-in' fee... but then also the chance to win prize money by finishing on the leaderboard?0 -

See that's what Im worried about. I loved their channel 4 show ten years back.
Cheers for the advice on the seats0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYAt the Orleans it's a room+ tournament deal for slot club members. It's an email offer that can be viewed by logging in the their site too. I don't know if you can sign up and access the offer without setting foot in the place.
We used to play in the Planet Hollywood one (or maybe it was Aladdin at the time). It was $25 to enter. You got $10 slot play and an entry. You tended to have a good chance of winning something though, we got some show tickets and extra slot play. Think you also got a $10 buffet coupon, so really the entry only cost $5. Unfortunately they don't do it any more, I'd be keen to hear if there were any others these days.0 -

Anyone can enter (you may have to be a member but anyone can be a member). You dont win anything while you are playing as they are special machines just for tournys, you pay to enter and win if you finish on the leader board.
The Orleans tournys are monthly and you can usually stay there for 3 nights for $99 which includes entry fee.
As has been said you just hit the button as many times as you can in a given time limit or credit limit0
