Pretty sure it's perfectly fine to get takeaway food delivered to your hotel room..it might vary on a hotel to hotel basis but in general I think it's OK. Email Vdara if you wanna make sure.

Pizza or chinese delivery to our hotel room (Vdara)?
    Can we do this?
    if we can, any suggestions?

    Thanks
For pizza go to the Metro pizza inside Ellis Island. I don't know if they deliver but it's worth the effort to get one of their pies!! (they do have other locations that probably deliver) Oh and wash it down with some home brew root beer for $1.50
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I can't give any recommendations, but yes, it is definitely allowed - friends did it just last week. ;)

At the Carriage House, there are often flyers from a pizza company on Flamingo pushed under the room door. As you need a room key to access the rooms they are either doing it with permission or the hotel is doing it for them.

A number of hotels have the lifts on "keycard only" in the evenings.....presumably as an anti-escort measure.

that's what I was thinking too...though at Bally's you do also regularly get the menus under your door, but have never had to show a key at Ballys to access the lift...would imagine that most delivery places will just phone the room if they need access - then again, if I ran a delivery place, not sure i would want the faff of my delivery drivers having to park and traipse a considerable distance to the room...unless they get a pass to leave their vehicle at valet for a few mins or something.

I really want to try Metro Pizza - have heard such good things...but anytime we go to EI we go for BBQ. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I thought that Cosmo pizza was OK, but Metro pizza is VERY good, and they now do these garlic bread knots that I'm looking forward to trying out in October.

Hi everyone i was hoping to get some help on when's best and where's best to book the best deal for a Vegas trip for June 2013? I was there on business in Feb and would love to return again with my wife. I will be lookin to fly from Glasgow to Gatwick then direct to Vegas. I think we will go for 7 days, and I will be looking to stay at somewhere like Planet Hollywood, Mgm Grand, Ceasars palace etc depending on costs. Ive had a look around and it seems to be around £2200 for flights and hotel for both. Any tips or advice on getting costs down would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance
    Dov
