BA and VS currently have LGW-LAS for £596 from 22 October to 14 December. (BA LGW flight is 3 times a week from October).

BA LHR service is about £40 more.

I guess it depends when in that period and what you consider cold.

We really like October - way too hot in the summer months for us.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Amazing trip. Knackered now though.

Going to sort a trip report ASAP.

Had a great 14 days in vegas but wow what a shambles the airport was Thursday.

No food no water nothing. Seems they had decided to move everything to the new terminal and just let everyone at the old terminal fend for themselves.

After having flown from T2 a few times i wont be sad to see the back of it. One of the worst airport terminals around

so i just returned from 1 week in vegas and got heatstroke...ho hum

the out bound flight was on the old un-refurbished plane and premium economy was a bit shabby but they had drinks for the whole flight which was good.

Returning we were the first to fly out of the new terminal 3 building (quite nice) and came back on a refurbished 747-400 which was much nicer and again had enough drinks however food was short for 2 passengers i overheard.

ooh that's good to hear that some of the refurbed planes are starting to appear on the LV runs :)
fingers crossed for both ways in Sept!

I agree. We flew from T2 on Wednesday and it was a mess.

Only food was from a tiny little Pizza hut, so the queues were massive. And the 2 little shops that remained open were half empty of stock.

As promised, photos of the new lounge at LAS.
I would have thought maybe VS and BA might have clubbed together to offer their customers a better experience than this, seeing that both airlines now fly their 10? times a week each. But at least they have showers now:j
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
