VALUE FOR MONEYIf we are ever out there together my wife would go on with you but my god that ride is scary:eek:
I will take you (or your wife) up on this if we are ever there the same time you know!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I think it looks scary but fun - at least I have seen it enough times to know what it will do, imagine it would be that much scarier if you weren't expecting the extra 'drops' - but you wouldn't get me on Insanity unless you paid me a whole lot of money.

I couldn't remember which ride Insanity was so I looked it up on Tube Of You.
I now feel sick _pale_ An offer of a Megabucks win wouldn't get me on it.
I do like that zipline at Freemont street though, we have to go back now and try the full length version.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -

Exactly...I can't stomach a tea cup ride...this is my worst nightmare...though I'm pretty sure I would do it for a Megabucks win.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

CASINOSHi, I'm looking to go back to Vegas after our first trip last year, it's safe to say I'm hooked! Just wondering what your thoughts are on a tower suite at treasure island and if anyone has paid a cash deposit instead of using a credit card for there room and if so what the amount was per night?
Thanks, Nat.If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always get so....this year I'm going to do things differently!0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYJust watched this video of a guy emptying his possesions on to the strip a month ago
It seems he may have lost his house and then lost his head
I think its sad if that is the case

WEATHERI nearly included the Strat in my list of things I haven't done, but as I've no desire to go there I missed it off.
We've had great views from Alize, Mix, THEhotel, Cosmo and Encore so a another great view isn't important.
As for the rides, no thank you!!
I wouldn't go on the rides either but the view is great plus some nice food in the revolving restaurant. We ate in there on our first trip0 -
WEATHERhmmm, just realised its not long till we go (well it is, but compared to how long we've waited it isn't!)
Started putting a bit of a list together based on what I read on another site as ideas of things I haven't done yet but would like to do and have pulled the following together:
Pinball Hall of Fame
In N Out Burger
Breakfast outside at Mon Ami Gabi
Ellis Island (steak or ribs)
The Maple Tree Cafe (possibly)
Neon Graveyard
Racing school at Las Vegas Speedway
Segway tour of the downtown area (possibly)
Roos ‘n’ more
M, Green Valley Ranch , Red Rock and South Point
Welcome to Las Vegas sign (at night)

So, the big question for you all is...
What haven't you got around to doing in / around Vegas yet???
Interested to see what other people have never got around to doing
We've been compiling a list of things we would like to do too. There's not really much but Roos n more is on our list too, also thinking of taking a drive to mojave national preserve. Never been to mirage secret garden so that is on the list and wouldn't mind seeing the titanic exhibit. Other than that there's nothing else I haven't done that I really want to do.0 -
