I read that as if you book through that particular package offer you get free breakfast...like the other packages that include something extra...not that it's for all international guests,...though prices seem to be the same as standard rates on their website...but more than the 20% off international guests offer.

So I don't think anyone could really hold them to the free breakfast thing unless booked via the package or having it on your confirmation or email from the hotel...but I know a lot of people have gotten it even when not booked through Cosmo itself...so fingers crossed for everyone (including us in October!) but I agree that it's probably better not to contact the hotel and ask in advance as it could be that it's only meant for those booking through the package but somehow it's being applied to more reservations than it's meant to...so maybe better to keep quiet and if it's not mentioned on check-in, then maybe ask...that's what we'll do. :)

Yep that was my point a few pages back but you always put it better than I do :)

Apologies, I think I got excited whilst posting ;)

I got a message from Cosmo that intimated it was for all international guests, however unfortunately, someone on here has had it confirmed it isn't.

I think as long as noone goes with an expectation (unless you booked through their link), then I suppose it doesn't matter

    Fingers crossed though eh... :D;)

hmmm, just realised its not long till we go (well it is, but compared to how long we've waited it isn't!)

Anyways, this is the first time we have no plans at all - for anything. Have some Restaurant.com / Groupons for food:
    - Aureole ($50)
    - El Segundo Sol ($10)
    - Strip Steak ($50)
    - First Food and Bar ($25)
    - Stripburger ($25)
    - Slice of Vegas ($30 Groupon)

And i've bought tickets to see "Peepshow", but haven't really put much thought into anything else (and if feels like we've done most things). Started putting a bit of a list together based on what I read on another site as ideas of things I haven't done yet but would like to do and have pulled the following together:

    Pinball Hall of Fame
    In N Out Burger
Breakfast outside at Mon Ami Gabi
    Ellis Island (steak or ribs)
    The Maple Tree Cafe (possibly)
    Neon Graveyard
Racing school at Las Vegas Speedway
Segway tour of the downtown area (possibly)
    Roos ‘n’ more
M, Green Valley Ranch , Red Rock and South Point
Welcome to Las Vegas sign (at night)

So, the big question for you all is...
What haven't you got around to doing in / around Vegas yet???

Interested to see what other people have never got around to doing :D

    Hi gang!

We have booked to go in June next year to get married :). We have been before 7 years ago. We are staying at the Tropicana and doing a road trip to San Fransico for 3 days. We are very excited and can hardly wait....Just got to pay for it first lol!

We're also compiling things to do for October and trying to load it up with things we have been talking about doing for years and never have...including from your list...

we have actually never been to the Welcome sign full stop in 19 trips...sad, really. :)

Eiffel Tower is also on the list. We haven't gotten much further than that though may go to Roos 'N More again and really want to finally make it back to Lotus of Siam.

We still haven't been up the Eiffel Tower in 14 trips. I even had a 2 for 1 coupon last time and we were staying next door in Bally's and still didn't manage to do it.

I'm not sure there is actually anything we haven't done that we would still like to do. We even managed to go to the Bellagio room tour last trip which was really good.

However there are loads of things that we would like to repeat, but never seem to find the time. We haven't been to Mon Ami Gabi the last couple of trips nor the Cortez Room at the Gold Coast.

Pinball Hall of Fame - still on the list, although pinball machines didn't figure in my youth or childhood. Just want to see what the fuss is about.

In N Out Burger - last trip was the first in ages where we missed out on this. We usually go at least one every time.

Breakfast outside at Mon Ami Gabi - haven't been there for any meal, I want to, Tony's not bothered.

Ellis Island (steak or ribs) - the BBQ is better than the steak special in my opinion. The breakfast steak and eggs special is great too.

Neon Graveyard - if you want to do this you will have to book in advance. There is a waiting list of about two weeks. We did this last trip and had a brilliant time.

M, Green Valley Ranch , Red Rock and South Point - all very nice places, worth the trip to visit.

Welcome to Las Vegas sign (at night) - did this last trip too. We found it really difficult to get decent pictures at night. It was pretty busy at 1am on a Wednesday morning.

Off to make a list for next time. Only three months to go........

Ours too - I don't really get the fascination with the steak special...it's OK...it's cheap, sure...but I wasn't impressed - I guess because all I had read were absolutely wonderful reviews and how it features on so many people's to-do list every trip so my expectations were way up...we've been back for the BBQ many times, never for the steak and unlikely we ever will...much preferred the steak special at Mr Lucky's when we went with you guys.

has anyone come back from Vegas on a late, late flight from Vegas connecting somewhere early morning in the US? We're just back from Chicago - 9am flight arrived at 10:45 last night and I think I may have discovered a solution to the jetlag problem as I got up at 7:30 this morning and so long as I stay involved with something that does not involve sitting on the sofa I'm pretty much OK...so now I'm toying with the idea of leaving Vegas on a red-eye flight to somewhere (Chicago, probably) and connect to an early morning flight home.
