$100k for an apartment in the Platinum?0 -
Had dinner at Biscayne at the Tropicana with a Groupon coupon. It was for 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine, but our server said they just take $98 off the total so you can choose anything. Hubby had lobster bisque and the 18oz rib eye, I had the 8oz filet mignon and we shared a couple of sides. He had wine as they only do bottled beer, not draught and I had a cocktail which was delicious. Service was excellent0

If you book a show before you go I would avoid first night and possibly second as you will probably fall asleep.....
Phantom @ Venetian. 2nd night. Mrs Frog dug me in the ribs to say "wake up, the chandelier has just fallen down".
Apparently LOVE was good as well(different trip, also 2nd night).

You are right there is no easy way into the states for us..we (UK residents) are even excluded from entering the green card lottery
We have friends that live in Las Vegas and have done so for the last 15 years ..the property market crashed more heavily than ours and we know of people that bought in the boom and lost $100000's.
We were told the only way to live in LV is to stay out of the casino's (apart from work) and don't eat in the buffets lolBit of a Florida Fan :j

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Since I'm American it might be easier for us...but then we think about holidays...how few they get over there compared to here. I'm pretty sure that if we did live in the US (not Vegas) and assuming we had to work we would spend LESS days in Vegas each year due to the lower number of days annual leave we would get each year.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Has anyone seen this? Looked at going last year, thought my boys would like it but didn't get around to it.....discounted tickets I might book...0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYwe have seen Terry Fator, it was good, it wasn't OMG so awesome (we didn't think) but it was worth seeing - but try to get tickets more centrally if possible, we were off to the side which was fine, there are screens, but the way the stage is set up we felt like we couldn't see everything - probably mostly the band, etc...but it seemed a bit weird.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
