    Flyertalk BA info
BA website shows which plane will be operating your flight if you click on the flight number on ba.com during the booking process. You can also work it out from ‘Manage My Booking’ (if your booking permits seat pre-selection).

ok thanks didnt know that... would i be better cancelling the ones i have ? also do you know when the check in opens ? is it 24 hours before ? i seem to remember 24 hours is the online check in time

We always check in 24 hours before (both ways)...and on the way out always stay at a hotel at or near the airport and use twilight check-in which makes the morning so much less of a faff...on the way back we always go to the airport at 11, check in, then go back to the strip for a few hours (we always have a rental car)...not entirely sure how the return plan will work when the new terminal opens as right now it's super easy to park right across the street from check-in...hmm...hadn't considered this until right now...off to research Terminal 3!

interesting - we really liked it...it felt kind of exclusive or something...and quiet...my hubby just said that he thinks he'd rather be downstairs in that little PE cabin than upstairs now...we shall see and fingers crossed for a happy surprise when we go to do online check-in.
I think we are confusing airlines. I was talking about the upper deck club world BA, I think you are taliking about VS premium economy
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

It depends on the length of your stay. Most people from what I can gather do $20 per stay, but I thnk that's a bit cheap if you are staying 7 nights or more. I always tip $50 for that length of stay. I have no idea if this actually helps getting an upgrade but I am happy to tip the clerk if they manage to get me the sort of room I am after
