thanks again for this - just booked a Terrace Suite...painful to spend so much for 3 nights but it's a special trip so we decided what the heck.
Kind of sad that it was my non-smoking hubby that was the one to think that I could smoke on the terrace - as we always get non-smoking rooms as he hates to get stuck in a really smelly room...this will be quite exciting for me! :)

We may change our mind closer to the time, but for now are quite excited...just that we haven't spent anywhere near that much for 8-9 nights total in years, so for 3 nights it seems like SO much to us....but we've never had a room that grand either, so...:)

Did you book with a fountain view or will you wait to ask at check in? We have a wraparound suite booked for 3 nights but not specified fountain view, was hoping to get one when we arrive.

Also not really sure which tower to ask for, last year I asked not to be near nightclub as I read it can be noisy in rooms but we didnt have a great view from it so anybody with suggestions of floor or tower so I can see strip/fountains would be appreciated.

Im sure you will like the rooms, they are my fav so far and the breakie will save you a little bit!

Hope you get this sorted,im sure if you have confirmation of suite they cannot downgrade you, probably just an admin error.

The good thing about the Terrace Suites is that you are guaranteed a fountain view - as they all face that way. We were on the 21st floor and the views were perfect. We were in the West Tower (furthest from the strip) and so didnt get any noise. The only thing with staying in the West Tower is that the walk to the strip / pool is quite long, but then we quite enjoyed walking through the lively casino each time.

My Mums room was on the 52nd floor and to be honest, I couldnt bare to go out on the balcony that high up! Especially as it was so windy when we stayed.
