Anyone wanting to get the new iPad 3 while in Vegas will be probably be disappointed for the next few weeks with all the outlets getting limited stocks they will go fast to the ones prepared to queue early in the morning......... Or order through the apple store and you can use your U.K. Credit card, then select Collect from store" and the date you want it, you will be presented with which of the 4 outlets it will be available from. I ordered mine last week for the first date available (16th) and was told I can pick it up from the Town Square store on that date. Just had an email telling me to come in at my leisure to pick up. You can put in any old address as the cardholder addy in the payment stage
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi Stoneman, how much did it cost in the US? Was there a big saving compared to UK prices?

I know this isn't strictly vegas - but anyone got recommendations for wine country in southern california? Looking for somewhere reasonably priced (obviously!) like sonoma. Hows paso robles?

Try the South West USA thread over here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3248860 Lots of useful info on the area over there

Any suggestions for a day/venue for an MSE meet? There are 4 posters on here that will be around at the same time. Besides me, that is.

    Anyone up for it?

Gill you can compare prices by going on to Apple website and choose your country at the bottom so you can look at USA prices and UK prices

Really easy way to get free buffets at M Resort. Collect 300 Points in the same day playing slots before 8pm and get a free breakfast or lunch buffet. Collect 450 and get dinner, 600 gets you seafood dinner. It took me about 1 hour playing 30 cents a spin on a slots to get the 450

Going tomorrow with BA from Glasgow via Heathrow, first time with BA, what is the IFE like ? Sitting in row 40. extra leg room.

Also not sure whether to take a notebook or Android/Ipad.

Does anyone know if the Mirage is wireless in the room ? (Site down for me at the moment)

IFE is on demand. Films were poor but there hasn't been anything good out in a while anyway. Comedy seems to always be American heavy. Watched a couple of factual program's on the way over then played on iPad the rest of the time?
Your notebook will run out of battery pretty quick as there are no plugins in WT+ so smaller device would be better. I "acquired" a copy of The Iron Lady and watched it on the iPad, quite a good film
