    Morning all,

Happy New Years Eve to everyone, we dont really do anything either, dd is going to her mates for the night, and OH and I will have a takeaway curry :T thats enough celebrating for us :D

I too will start in the healthy eating next week, I have eaten and drunk exactly what I wanted over xmas and its showing :o so back to normal next week.

Today a nice walk is in order I think, yesterday it did nothing but rain all day, so little dog only got a couple of quick walks, so will make up for it today, dd and I sat and started a puzzle yesterday, have not done one for years, and really enjoyed it :o, will do a bit more today.

I also need to do an online shop as we are running out of everything.

    Have good days all xx

    Morning all!
Bramble, so sorry to hear your news :grouphug:

Today I will mostly be ignoring the Hogmanay tradition of gutting the house, emptying the washing and ironing baskets etc, I feel rotten and can't be bothered, the family have been in the house all week and if they are happy to live in a sh*t-hole then they can carry on! Am waiting for WM to finish with my uniforms, and will iron myself something to wear tomorrow to go to MIL's for dinner, may visit shops for juice etc as DS is huffing there's no Irn Bru left, and then will be jammied and reading my Kindle, bottoms to them all! Can you tell they have slightly annoyed me????? OH went back to bed to stay out the way, lazy person!!
    Have a good day all!

  • Morning all,

Just a quick visit frm me today. Not much doing but I ave plenty of little jobs to be on with so will potter around. Trying to persuade MrS to go to the cinema later as we have an Unlimited card and alongside my carers card means we can see as many films as we like for £13.50 a month. Apparetnly there's nothing on though so I'm getting cross and going to go alone if he doesn't want to venture out.

Hopefully chickens have laid plenty today as I want to do a bread and butter pudding to use up some milk and then I need to figure smoething out to do with a million and one types of orange citrus fruits. Possibly some curd, again though this depends on the girls producing for me.

Hair is dyed and tidying is done, just need to get dressed now.
  • Hi Guys!

Just wanted to say hello and hope you're all keeping well. Im still breathing, so thats good but its still difficult dealing with everything, but we're managing. Im starting new treatment in January and back in hospital for a few weeks but hoping after 3 weeks they will allow me to be treated at home with the usual nurses I have.

Our new house fell through but business is doing well. DD doing great at college and she's already earned herself 3 distinctions which obviously we're so very proud of. She's still with her boyfriend, so thats been over a year now.....where does the time go? I can't believe we're going into 2012. I hope this year is better than 2011 for us as theres been a lot of sadness, death and problems and will be glad to see the back of it.

I can't remember whether I said before but I started writing children's books/poems and they're going well and keeps my brain working (Use it or loose it theory!). Have some interest in them, but they're not finished yet. Im quite enjoying doing it, but initially was more of a hobby but they actually gave me drive to get up in the morning and keep me focused on something. When I read some of the poems they make me smile as I try to think of them through a kids eyes.

I really hope you're all ok and will try harder to visit more, but energy levels are constantly low, but will try-promise!

Hugs and kisses to all. (MATH...how you doing sweetie-big snog to you as always :-))

    Happy New Year!!

    Morning All

WM been on, TD on now, DW on its second run, Chicken & Bacon casserole in the slow cooker (SW again ;)) DH off to work until 6 - packed up with egg mayo buns, and biscuits from xmas (he usually buys his lunch but chose to go for a pint with his cousin last night and have a pack up for today instead). Need to straighten the lounge and sweep through and then wipe round the kitchen.

Have to go and pick the step-kids up from their mums today so chaos will resume here - DS-D will not be amused as I asked her to make sure all her christmas clothes and smellies were tidied away before she went and she didn't bother so I chucked them all on her bed :D

DH is working tonight so I have the kids and won't be going anywhere. Always used to go out on New Year it was often the only night of the year I got out! I am looking forward to the New Year - I have my 40th in April, My Brothers wedding in June and my Sister's in September. DH and I are also hoping to get away for a week on our own - finances permitting!

My dieting is going really well and it will continue into the New Year - I had xmas weekend 'off' but really the worst thing I did was eat roast potatoes done in goose fat and had a mince pie with cream (which was bl00dy lovely:D) I have drank alot more this week than I had been but I'm on holiday! and I will be having goose fat roasties tomorrow too. Got Scales on Monday, weighed on Tuesday morning and then again this morning and I'd lost another 4 pound so feeling very positive today :T to me :D

I'm sure I'll be about later but in the meantime Best wishes for the New Year, may all your dreams come true x
